Job Purpose and Impact
  • The Senior Consultant, Core Cyber Operations - External Engagement job serves as the strategic bridge between Cargill cybersecurity operations teams and the broader cyber landscape, including industry groups, vendors, customers, government agencies, law enforcement, and other third parties. This job will help shape how we communicate, collaborate, and respond to threats, while building trusted relationships and driving intelligence-sharing that protects our global business.

Key Accountabilities
    • RELATIONSHIPS: Curate and maintain relationships with local, state, and national law enforcement, government agencies, vendors, and industry groups
    • INTELLIGENCE & INFORMATION: Create and maintain information sharing pathways with other Cargill teams, government and industry groups
    • THIRD PARTY: Lead external communications for incident response involving Cargill business partners and third parties
    • COMMUNICATIONS: Assist with internal and external communications and public relations during cybersecurity events
    • NETWORKING: Create and curate networking and training opportunities for Cyber Operations teams
    • TRAINING: In conjunction with Defensive Cyber Operations Advisor and others, create and deliver periodic training to internal and external teams

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    • COLLABORATION: Cultivates collaboration with cybersecurity peers, data privacy partners, external experts, industry consortia and other internal and external teams to ensure organization-wide cybersecurity threat detection and response operations are effective and efficient and business objectives are delivered.
    • THIRD PARTY COMPROMISE: Fosters partnerships on third party compromise response activities to address and mitigate risks associated with external entities.
    • LAW ENFORCEMENT INTERFACE: Interfaces with law enforcement agencies and outside organizations to facilitate collaboration and information sharing during cyber incidents.
    • INCIDENT RESPONSE: Operates complex incident detection, response, and recovery processes to ensure effective and efficient management of cyber incidents

Qualifications
  • Minimum requirement of 6 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 10 years or more of relevant experience.
