As a Consumer Product Marketing Intern, you’ll get a front-row seat to how we bring new product experiences to millions of people around the world. This is a hands-on internship where you’ll learn the fundamentals of product marketing by working on real initiatives that impact how people discover, use, and love GoFundMe. You’ll collaborate with Product, Design, Growth, and Marketing teams to help shape narratives, analyze user insights, and support go-to-market campaigns that drive meaningful adoption and engagement. 

This is a 10 week internship that runs from May 27th, 2026 to August 7th, 2026. Candidates considered for this position will be based in San Francisco, CA and will be expected to go into the office three days per week.

The Job…

  • Help execute go-to-market strategies, supporting launches from early planning through activation and analysis.
  • Translate product features into clear, compelling messaging that resonates with real people.
  • Contribute to audience and market research, digging into qualitative and quantitative insights to inform strategy.
  • Support competitive landscape analysis to understand trends and opportunities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Growth, Comms, Design, Product) to ensure messaging and positioning are aligned across product and marketing touchpoints.
  • Participate in testing, iteration, and retrospectives, helping identify what’s working and where we can improve.

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills—you can turn complexity into clarity.

The hourly rate for this position is $30.00.  As this is a hybrid position, the pay rate was determined by role, level, and possible location across the US. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
