Schedule Format - Location: Hybrid - San Francisco

Pay Information: $95,525 - $119,406

Temporary Until - September 30, 2029
Position Summary

KQED is seeking a Content Analytics Lead to serve as a partner to our content teams, studying content performance data, developing insights into what works, what doesn’t, and why, and making data-driven recommendations. Working under the Executive Director of Insights & Growth, this person will be responsible for reporting and briefings to review performance across all of our platforms, with an emphasis on digital growth within priority content verticals.

The person in this role will be first and foremost an analyst and tactical advisor to our content teams. The ideal candidate will go beyond basic reporting and apply data science and experimentation techniques to help us learn and improve.

We have a strong preference for candidates who can work hybrid three days a week in our San Francisco headquarters, but are open to considering a remote arrangement for candidates with an exceptionally strong track record of delivering performance insights to publishers.

KQED envisions a public media organization with a culture that centers on human dignity, equity, and belonging. This will enable us to better serve and reflect the Bay Area through diverse and inclusive storytelling.

We value the contributions of marginalized people in society — including Black, Indigenous, and all people of color,  people with disabilities, and LGBTQIA+ people — and we believe that these communities must be centered in the work we do, and we strongly encourage members of these communities to apply.
