At Carta, our employees set out on a mission to unlock the power of equity ownership for more people in more places. We believe that the problems we solve today unlock the opportunities of tomorrow. As a Lead Product Marketing Manager focused on our Carta Law segment, you'll work to:

  • Governance, Compliance & Market Presence: Apply a deep focus on governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) to product positioning, while serving as a key product subject matter expert at company and industry events.
  • End-to-End Launch Strategy & Execution: Partner across GTM and R&D teams to tier launches, establish Bills of Materials (BOMs), and manage execution from initial brief through post-launch analytics.
  • Asset Creation & Creative Briefing: Develop high-performing product collateral, multimedia, and sales enablement assets in close collaboration with Creative, and Brand Strategy teams.
  • GTM Alignment & Campaign Strategy: Integrate product roadmaps with demand generation, integrated marketing, and paid channels to drive campaign success, lifecycle marketing, and event presence.
  • Positioning & Messaging Ownership: Define and evolve the core product narrative, value proposition, and market positioning for Carta Law, translating complex legal/regulatory features into clear value for buyers.
  • Voice of Customer & Win/Loss Analysis: Conduct ongoing customer interviews, and win/loss studies to uncover buyer friction and feed insights directly into the R&D team.

You’ll be joining our Marketing team, as part of our Product and Customer Marketing team. Marketing is the engine for growth at Carta. We bring our values to life through our brand, and drive demand for products and services across a complex market landscape. We infuse the customer in everything we design, define and deliver and reflect the inspiration and ambition of our customers in the work we do.

About You

A successful Lead Product Marketing Manager for this role would likely have:

  • 8+ years of hands-on product marketing/GTM experience
  • Preferably, SaaS fintech experience and/or product marketing experience at companies in the governance, risk, and compliance space 
  • Motivation to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Creative problem solving skills. Someone who can diagnose problems, isolate them into their component parts, and drive towards creative solutions
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into actionable value propositions for prospects and customers
Compensation 

Carta’s compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our minimum cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is:

  • $182,750 - $215,000 salary  in San Francisco, CA; New York, NY
  • $173,613 - $204,250 salary in Seattle, WA
