Hello, B2B Marketing Writer & Designer!

Freeosk is looking for a B2B Marketing Writer & Designer  to join our team and help bring the next chapter of Freeosk Experiential Retail Media® to life. An ideal candidate blends hands-on experience in written and visual storytelling to influence B2B audiences across Retailers, RMNs, and Media Agencies.  This is a part-time, remote role - perfect for someone who wants meaningful, high-impact work with flexibility.

Why this role exists:

This role exists to elevate how Freeosk shows up across the retail media ecosystem. You will create high-quality, B2B-facing marketing materials that sharpen our narrative, reinforces our differentiation, and builds credibility. You’ll work across writing and design—creating high quality content that doesn’t just look polished, but moves conversations forward.

We work in a distributed environment. Our office is in Chicago, but you can be located anywhere within the continental United States. There may be occasional travel to our Chicago office.

This is a part-time role (up to 24 hours/week) that pays $50/hour. The schedule will involve working consistently three days a week.

Key Responsibilities

    Content Development

  • Own a steady cadence of LinkedIn content that responds to industry conversations and reinforces Freeosk’s point of view
  • Translate complex ideas (retail media, data, in‑store experiences) into clear, compelling B2B narratives
  • Create one-pagers and sell sheets that support high‑stakes retailer and RMN discussions
  • Identify timely hooks, moments, and themes—without needing full briefs or heavy direction
  • Design & Execution

  • Design clean, modern, B2B-credible visuals across social, presentations, and marketing materials
  • Apply brand guidelines with judgment—not rigidity
  • Ensure visual and editorial consistency across all touchpoints

Your Skills, Background, and Experience

  • 1–3 years creating B2B content for enterprise, retail, or media audiences
  • Proven ability to carry work from initial idea through final execution
  • Strong understanding of how credibility and thought leadership are built in B2B
  • Deep familiarity with LinkedIn as a professional channel (editorial norms, formats, engagement styles)
  • High standards for clarity, accuracy, and visual polish
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Google Workspace (Docs/Sheets/Slides), Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Slack workspace
  • Bonus: Experience with WordPress, Canva, and AI tools

You will thrive in this role if you:

  • Enjoy working independently and bringing forward ideas proactively
  • Care deeply about how work reads, looks, and lands with senior audiences
  • Like shaping narratives—not just executing briefs
