Responsibilities:  

Plan, design, write, shoot, and edit engaging digital and print materials to build brand awareness, engage target audiences, drive audience growth, and support marketing and campaign goals. 

Strategy Development 

  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing Manager to create social media, and email strategies aligned with overall business goals including growing brand visibility, brand relevance and community support as demonstrated by shares, re-posts, quality comments, donations, volunteerism, and response rates. 

  • Set measurable goals for social media and email campaigns such as increasing brand awareness, driving traffic, quality engagement, generating leads and increasing donations. 

  • Monitor comment sections, reply to users, and build active online communities. 

Content Creation 

  • Create and share content that stands out and compels interaction spanning the range of social media formats including text, video, images, carousels; monthly newsletters, email campaigns, and direct mail. 

  • Shoot and edit videos, photos, and graphics for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and our website. 

  • Draft engaging captions, scripts, blog posts, newsletters, email and ad copy aligned with brand voice. Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all platforms. 

  • Develop and manage a content calendar to ensure timely and strategic posting. 

  • Travel to video locations, onsite and offsite events. 

Platform Management and Reporting 

  • Track and analyze engagement metrics, views, and reach to optimize future content. 

  • Identify trends and insights from data to inform future strategies and campaigns. 

  • Prepare monthly performance reports. 

  • Collaborate with development and digital marketing team members to develop engaging content and campaigns. 

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Video/Film, Marketing, or related fields. 

  • Experience: 2 – 3 years of professional experience in content creation, social media management or digital marketing experience. 

  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Canva) and mobile video tools. 

  • Platform Expertise: Understanding of social media algorithms, content formats, and trends. 

  • Portfolio: A strong track record or portfolio demonstrating past video, photo, and written work. 

  • Skills: Working knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles, Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends, Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Creative and analytical thinking skills, Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
