The Role

We’re looking for a Partnerships Manager (Contractor) to help grow and support our Tech Week Partner Network. This person will play a key role in expanding our ecosystem of event hosts, vendors, and community collaborators - building relationships that elevate the Tech Week experience and brand.

You’ll be responsible for bringing on new event hosts, as well as identifying and onboarding new ecosystem partners. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role ideal for someone who thrives in relationship management, community building and events.

This role is based in San Francisco, CA, but we’re also open to remote candidates in the West Coast for the right fit.

To join our team, you should be excited to:
  • Grow the community: Drive event submissions from startups, VCs, and strategic partners interested in participating in Tech Week
  • Expand our network: Source and coordinate key ecosystem partners such as venues, photographers, and other new vendor relationships
  • Raise the bar: Advise partners on hosting high-quality Tech Week events
  • Curate top events: Flag standout events for the internal team to prioritize and amplify in Tech Week marketing
  • Identify sponsor prospects: communicate potential sponsorship leads from your conversations with hosts
  • Manage your own host pipeline: from outreach and acquisition to event submission.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in partnerships, event management, or a related marketing or customer success role (events experience essential)
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong external relationships
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Passion for technology, entrepreneurship, and community-building
  • Proficient across tools and systems such as HubSpot, Airtable, Partiful, Canva, etc.
  • Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude etc.) to speed up execution across daily workflows.

The anticipated hourly range for this role is between $65.00 - $75.00 per hour, actual starting pay may vary based on a range of factors which can include experience, skills, and scope.

  • We do only first class business and only in a first class way
  • We take a long view of relationships, because we are in the relationship business
  • We believe in the future and bet the firm that way
  • We are all different, we recognize that, and we win
  • We celebrate the good times
  • We do it for the team
  • We play to win
