Our client is a pioneering force in AI computing, redefining the limits of machine intelligence through its breakthrough wafer-scale architecture. Its technology delivers record-setting performance across training and inference workloads and powers innovation for leading model labs, global enterprises, and AI-native companies. As the company continues to scale globally and prepare for the next stage of its growth — including a path to the public markets — it is building out the operational infrastructure to support that trajectory. The company is headquartered in Sunnyvale and is backed by a prominent roster of investors.

This is a build opportunity within a small, collaborative legal department. The Contracts & Legal Operations Manager will help implement Ironclad as the company’s contract lifecycle management system, develop contract workflows and playbooks, assist in evaluating and deploying AI-powered legal tools, and serve as the operational backbone for a growing legal function. The role offers meaningful exposure across the business and a real opportunity to help shape how the legal team operates. Some in-office presence in Sunnyvale is expected, with flexibility for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

    • Lead implementation and ongoing administration of Ironclad CLM, including workflow configuration, template management, and user training
    • Evaluate and help implement AI tools for the legal team to improve efficiency and scalability
    • Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial agreements, including NDAs, procurement contracts, SaaS agreements, and marketing agreements
    • Develop and maintain contract workflows, playbooks, and process documentation
    • Serve as the company’s source of truth on contracts and related documentation
    • Develop and maintain compliance programs for complex commercial agreements and governance policies
    • Provide cross-functional training to business stakeholders

Qualifications

    • At least five years of experience in a contracts manager, contracts administrator, legal operations, or similar role, with direct experience managing and negotiating contracts
    • Hands-on experience with Ironclad or a comparable contract lifecycle management platform
    • Experience building or improving contract workflows and processes in a lean legal environment
    • Familiarity with AI legal tools and enthusiasm for identifying practical applications
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain compliance processes for complex commercial agreements and cross-functional projects
    • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
    • Proactive, process-oriented approach with a track record of driving matters to closure
    • Comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving, high-growth environment

The targeted base compensation range is $150,000–$170,000, plus bonus and significant equity. Individual total compensation will depend on the candidate’s directly relevant experience.
