The Opportunity

Join the team that fuels Hinge Health’s commercial growth by serving as the critical bridge between our business goals and legal protection. As a Contracts Manager, you won’t just review documents; you will be a strategic partner to Sales, Client Success, and Procurement, ensuring our agreements—from complex customer deals to essential vendor partnerships—are executed with speed and precision. You will play a pivotal role in modernizing our legal operations, leveraging AI tools and data to build a scalable, world-class contracting engine.

What You'll Accomplish
  • In your first 3 months: You will master our contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems and playbooks. You will build trust with the Commercial Legal team by independently drafting and negotiating standard agreements (NDAs, vendor contracts) and ensuring 100% of new requests are accurately tracked and triaged.

  • In your first 6 months: You will become the primary owner of the contract lifecycle for your assigned business units, reducing turnaround times by proactively identifying bottlenecks. You will support attorneys on complex commercial negotiations and lead the refresh of our standard operating procedures (SOPs) to align with new business initiatives.

  • In your first year: You will act as a subject matter expert for our contracting strategy, contributing to high-value negotiations and strategic partnerships. You will spearhead the adoption of new legal technologies (including AI) to automate routine tasks, allowing the team to focus on high-impact legal work.

Who You Are
  • A "Learn-it-all": You possess a strong understanding of contract law but are always eagerto deepen your knowledge. You stay ahead of industry trends and proactively research new legal concepts to support the team.

  • A Process Architect: You don’t just follow the process; you improve it. You have a knack for spotting inefficiencies and the "Hustle" to implement scalable solutions, whether through better templates or technology.

  • A Clear Communicator: You can translate complex legal risks into clear, actionable advice for business stakeholders. You build bridges between Legal, Finance, and Sales to ensure everyone is aligned.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in contract management, legal operations, or a paralegal role (preferably in-house).

  • Demonstrated experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts (vendor, customer, and partnership agreements).

  • Proficiency with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems (e.g., Ironclad) and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare, technology, or highly regulated industries.

  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations (HIPAA) and compliance requirements.

  • Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple high-priority workflows simultaneously.
