Broadridge is growing! We are seeking a Controls Engineering Manager for our El Dorado Hills, California facility. In this role, you will manage a team of supervisors and employees, leading in the areas of projects, CAD vendor management, and work methodologies. You will coach, manage, evaluate, and lead the team of engineers. You will drive and participate  in the resolution of technical, resource, and scheduling issues that may arise during Engineering projects, and collaborate with various teams and departments.

This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Manages supervisors and employees, applying operational or strategic management skills

  • Management responsibilities include performance appraisals, pay reviews, training and development

  • Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or clients

  • Collaborates with the Engineering leads to develop and establish work methodologies for the creation and documentation of new designs and the modification of existing designs. 

  • Collaborates with the Engineering Technician & Machine Shop group to tailor Engineering work methodologies for best support of equipment assembly processes

  • Collaborates with the Engineering leads to identify CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools and other equipment that best serve the mission of the group

  • Identifies and resolves technical, operational, and organizational problems

  • Drives and participates in the resolution of technical, resource, and scheduling issues that may arise during an Engineering project

  • Is responsible for the business relationship with CAD companies and drives the support and maintenance agreements with them

  • Collaborates with Engineering management and Engineering rank & file associates to develop, implement, review, and improve Project Management methodologies used by the Engineering group

  • For new projects, collaborates with Engineering management and Engineering leads to specify a project’s technical requirements as well as scope, timeline, and resources

  • Reviews the goals and accomplishments of engineers. Evaluates if engineers are consistently following established methodologies and sets goals for improvement
     

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in any engineering discipline (electrical, mechanical, or software)

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ management experience across multiple engineering disciplines

  • Strong leadership and verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices

The salary range for this position is $160,000 - $190,000 annual base. Eligible for annual bonus. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
