Fiber and Mobility Solutions | Strategic Accounts

AI is transforming how the world works, and every model, data center, and cloud platform behind it requires enormous amounts of network connectivity. Whether High-Capacity Fiber or Mobility solutions, AT&T is moving fast to meet that demand. Join a growing team of sales professionals that partner with the world's leading technology companies to deliver the network solutions their AI infrastructure depends on.

As a Converged Sales Manager for the AT&T Technology Sector Strategic Accounts organization, you will lead and develop a team of B2B outside sales professionals responsible for growing relationships with existing named technology accounts. This role is for an experienced sales leader energized by the AI-driven growth of today's technology companies, who can turn customer priorities and market shifts into focused account strategies, stronger executive relationships, and sustainable revenue. You will guide your sellers and work closely with customers and internal teams to expand solution adoption, strengthen retention, and deliver measurable results.

Earn with confidence, upside, and visibility into your total opportunity.
This role offers a competitive base salary, performance-based commission, and meaningful earning upside tied directly to sales results. At target performance, total annual earnings are expected to range from $193,600 to $252,800, with the opportunity for top performers to exceed target based on quota achievement, new revenue growth, and strength of pipeline execution.

Your earnings will be driven by how effectively you build and manage enterprise opportunities, develop customer relationships, advance complex solutions, and close business. High-performing sellers who consistently create qualified pipeline, expand account potential, and deliver results can accelerate earnings to $350,000 or more while building long-term career momentum within AT&T.

What you’ll do:

  • Build and lead a high-performing team: Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent, build a team with the skills, accountability, and winning culture needed to capture the AI-driven growth opportunity across an assigned portfolio of high-tech customers.
  • Capture the AI infrastructure opportunity: Lead the team in winning the significant high-capacity fiber services opportunity created by the AI infrastructure build-out, positioning AT&T as the network partner of choice for the technology companies building and scaling AI.
  • Grow existing accounts: Coach sellers to build and execute account plans that deepen relationships, uncover whitespace, and mitigate renewal risks to drive revenue, retention, and expansion across an assigned portfolio with an emphasis on high-capacity fiber solutions (DIA, wavelength, MOFN/PDN and dark fiber).
  • Strengthen executive customer relationships: Engage senior customer stakeholders and guide the team in conducting effective discovery, executive business reviews, and outcome-focused conversations that connect AT&T capabilities to strategic business priorities.
  • Lead sales performance: Set clear expectations, assign priorities, inspect pipeline, and forecast quality, monitor performance metrics, and take timely action to improve sales and financial targets.
  • Apply high tech sector insight: Use knowledge of high-tech business models, market dynamics, and customer priorities to improve account strategy, customer relevance, and solution positioning.
  • Coordinate complex solutions: Partner with technical, service, product, pricing, operations, and other cross-functional teams to shape and deliver solutions for complex customer needs.
  • Improve with speed and purpose: Use customer feedback, data, and market insight to simplify work, address problems, improve sales practices, and focus resources on the highest-value opportunities.
  • Manage resources and risk: Manage resource allocation, escalate material customer or execution risks, and exercise sound judgment in resolving complex issues.
  • Measure and communicate results: Maintain disciplined operating rhythms, including one-to-ones, account, and pipeline reviews, forecast reviews, and performance coaching, and communicate progress, risks, and actions to leadership and partners.

What you’ll bring:

  • 8+ years of related sales experience, including experience in complex B2B or enterprise sales environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, or developing quota-carrying sales professionals and improving execution against measurable goals.
  • Experience growing existing customer relationships through strategic account planning, retention, renewals, cross-sell, upsell, or broader solution adoption.
  • Ability to build credibility with senior customer stakeholders and guide complex, multi-stakeholder sales, and account decisions.
  • Strong product, pricing, pipeline, forecasting, and performance-management capability, with sound judgment in resolving complex customer and business issues.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical, service, product, pricing, operations, and leadership teams to deliver customer outcomes.
  • Ability to use customer, market, and performance insights to prioritize opportunities, allocate resources, and improve team results.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA).
