The salary range for this position is $33.50 - $37.25 per hour. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and San Francisco location. This is a hybrid role based in our downtown San Francisco office – Tues through Thursday in-office, with Monday and Friday remote.

SUMMARY

The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) Coordinator provides essential coordination, logistics, and administrative support to DEIB initiatives across Kendo Brands. This role focuses on operational excellence, ensuring DEIB programs, events, and reporting activities are executed accurately, consistently, and on time. This role advances a culture of real inclusion and belonging by translating DEIB principles into everyday programs, partnerships, and experiences that are felt across teams and brands at Kendo. The Coordinator partners closely with DEIB leadership, HR partners, Finance, Brand teams, and external vendors to support employee programming, social impact initiatives, and internal communications.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

DEIB Program & Event Coordination

  • Coordinate logistics for DEIB programs, heritage moments, employee events, volunteer initiatives, and community activations
  • Serve as the program and event coordinator for assigned DEIB initiatives, managing timelines, task lists, and execution details
  • Manage calendars, room bookings, virtual meeting setup, A/V needs, catering, RSVPs, and run-of-show documentation
  • Support enterprise-wide moments (e.g., Pride, Giving campaigns, service days) through planning, execution support, and post-event follow-up

Product Donation & Community Support Coordination

  • Own coordination of product donation requests, including intake, tracking, approvals, fulfillment, and documentation
  • Partner with Brand, Inventory, Operations, and Finance teams to source and fulfill approved product donations
  • Maintain accurate records of donations for internal tracking, audit readiness, and CSR reporting support

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support for the DEIB team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, capturing notes, and tracking action items
  • Monitor shared DEIB inboxes and coordinate responses and follow-ups
  • Maintain organized digital files, trackers, and documentation in SharePoint and Teams - Track participation, attendance, and engagement metrics for DEIB programs and events

Financial, Expense & Vendor Processing

  • Process DEIB-related expense reports, invoices, and vendor payments in partnership with Finance and People Operations
  • Track program expenses against budget and maintain accurate records of receipts and approvals
  • Support vendor onboarding, payment follow-ups, and reconciliation

CSR & Reporting Support

  • Support data entry, documentation, and evidence collection for CSR, Inclusion Index, and DEIB reporting activities
  • Assist in maintaining reporting trackers and shared files to support annual and ad-hoc reporting requirements

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1+ years of experience in coordination, administration, HR, DEIB, or program support roles
  • Experience supporting events, programs, or internal initiatives
  • Interest in DEIB, employee experience, or social impact work
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Program and event coordination skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Comfort managing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Basic data tracking and spreadsheet skills
  • Canva skills for creating clean, engaging internal visuals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Collaborative and service-oriented mindset
