  • Have a firm understanding of retail and best practices, from what is happening in the marketplace to the latest copy trends.
  • Be able to take direction and be flexible through changes in strategy and creative direction, all while keeping a healthy morale.
  • Work well independently and collaborate with the Copy Manager and Graphic Designers as well as with cross functional partners, such as Social Media & Marketing Managers.
  • Deliver all copy on time and error-free.
  • Edit and proofread with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Keep the Copy Manager updated on project status, initiatives and key issues.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 1 – 3 years professional Copywriting experience.
  • Retail experience required.
  • A writer’s writer with creative chops, along with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Firm understanding of retail, what is happening in the marketplace and copy trends.
  • Ability to take direction and be flexible through changes in strategy while staying calm (a sense of humor helps too!)
  • Ability to deliver error-free copy under tight deadlines, be self-reliant and collaborative as needed.
  • Online portfolio required.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us:

  • The Product—so good, you’ll be using your employee discount more than you probably should.
  • The People—ask anyone that works here…we have incredible people on our team.
  • The Experience—you’ll enjoy a rewarding career at a respected children’s brand.
