Core Operations Lead

Moonlake is building the frontier of interactive world models: systems that generate, simulate, and reason over 3D environments for embodied AI, robotics and gaming. We develop the simulation infrastructure to build worlds (e.g., assets, scenes, digital twins) at scale.

Moonlake is building the next generation of AI infrastructure for interactive digital worlds. Our mission is to enable anyone to create, simulate, and interact with rich environments using natural language and multimodal inputs, turning simple ideas into worlds with structure, logic, and agents that can perceive and act.

Our team has raised $28M in seed funding from NVIDIA Ventures, Threshold Ventures, AIX ventures and notable angels including Naval Ravikant and Jeff Dean to build the foundational layer for the future of AI - powering everything from creative tools and games to robotics training, simulations, and digital twins. Our goal is to make building and experimenting with these environments as accessible and scalable as publishing video on the internet.

You will operate as a force multiplier across the company.

Responsibilities will include:

Founder & Company Operations

• Manage high-leverage operational priorities for the CEO and leadership team

• Coordinate cross-team projects and ensure execution across the company

• Build and maintain internal processes that keep the organization running efficiently

Events & Community

• Own logistics for hackathons, game jams, and community events

• Coordinate developer events and creator programs

• Support the growth of Moonlake’s developer ecosystem

Operational Systems

• Manage internal tools and operational workflows

• Help streamline recruiting operations and candidate coordination

• Build lightweight automation and workflows where possible

Special Projects

• Execute ambiguous projects across product, marketing, research, and community

• Solve operational problems that don’t have obvious owners
  

We are looking for raw intelligence, curiosity, and ownership.

Ideal candidates may come from backgrounds such as:

• Top university graduates

• Startup generalists

• Early-career operators

• Technical builders who want exposure to company building

• Extremely high agency and ability to operate independently

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Curiosity about AI, games, and frontier technology

• Comfort operating in fast-moving environments

• Experience building things with AI tools

• Experience organizing events or communities

• Technical literacy (coding, scripting, or automation)
  

At our stage, many operational tasks are still handled by the founders.

A great operator in this role will unlock significant time for the leadership team to focus on research and product.

This role offers unusually broad exposure to building a frontier AI startup from the ground up.
