About the company
Our client is a law firm.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Act as the lead corporate attorney for a group of emerging-company clients, covering everyday advice and transactional drafting. The role involves working closely with company founders, directing paralegal support and contributing to internal processes and tooling as the firm expands.

- Serve as the primary corporate lawyer for a set of startup clients, covering board approvals, equity issuances, employment matters and everyday corporate questions.
- Draft and review governance documents along with early-stage and priced financing documents.
- Advise founders directly and regularly by email and phone.
- Delegate work to paralegals and give them the context needed for smooth handoffs.
- Work with engineers and non-lawyer colleagues to improve internal tools and workflows.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 2 to 6 years of post-JD experience in startup corporate and venture financing work, gained at a large firm, in-house or in solo practice.
- Transactional experience across multiple clients and industries rather than a single major client.
- A law degree and a current license to practice in good standing.
- Ease with modern technology, including a habit of applying automation or AI in day-to-day work.
- Real enthusiasm for helping build a firm from the ground up and a desire to stay long-term.
