Description

San Rafael, CA | Mercedes-Benz | Luxury brand | Courtesy Vehicle Coordinator | Loaner Fleet | Administrative | Marin County | Bay Area | Veterans encouraged to apply | Starting at $20/hr

IS THIS YOU?

• You're organized, detail-oriented, and able to keep a fleet of loaner vehicles running smoothly without losing a single detail

• You're professional and composed with guests -- the loaner experience is part of how we represent the Mercedes-Benz brand

• You're looking for a stable, guest-facing role at a luxury dealership with room to grow

WHO WE ARE

Swickard Auto Group is a hospitality company that happens to sell and service cars. We believe the best guest experiences start with the best employee experiences. That's why we've grown to 40+ rooftops across the West Coast, Alaska, and Hawaii while maintaining a culture built on one simple idea: do right by people, every time.

At Mercedes-Benz of Marin, the courtesy vehicle program is an extension of the service experience we deliver to every guest. When a guest leaves their vehicle with us, the loaner they drive reflects our standard -- and the Courtesy Vehicle Coordinator is the person who makes sure that standard is upheld every single day.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Manage the courtesy vehicle fleet -- coordinating loaner assignments, check-outs, check-ins, and vehicle availability to support the service department's daily schedule

• Process loaner agreements accurately -- verifying guest information, insurance documentation, and completing all required paperwork at check-out and return

• Inspect courtesy vehicles at check-out and return -- documenting condition, fuel level, and mileage on every transaction

• Maintain loaner vehicle cleanliness and presentation -- ensuring every courtesy vehicle is clean, fueled, and ready before a guest takes delivery

• Coordinate with service advisors on loaner scheduling -- communicating availability, expected return dates, and any guest needs in advance

• Track and follow up on overdue loaners -- contacting guests proactively to manage fleet availability and minimize gaps

• Maintain accurate records of all loaner activity in the DMS

• Support the service drive with vehicle staging and additional guest coordination tasks as needed

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• No prior automotive experience required -- we will train the right person from day one

• Previous administrative, customer service, fleet coordination, or rental car experience a strong plus

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail -- loaner documentation and fleet tracking need to be accurate every time

• Professional, warm, and composed with guests -- the loaner interaction is a guest touchpoint that reflects the Mercedes-Benz brand

• Comfortable managing multiple moving pieces simultaneously -- fleet availability, advisor scheduling, and guest communication all at once

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record -- required, as vehicle movement is part of the daily responsibilities

• Reliable, punctual, and self-directed -- the service team depends on loaner availability being managed proactively

WHAT WE OFFER

Starting at $20/hr

• Medical, dental, and vision insurance

• Life insurance and supplemental coverage options

• Paid time off and paid holidays

• On-the-job training -- no experience necessary

• Career growth -- motivated coordinators at Swickard have grown into service advisor, service support, and operations roles

• Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts

• A guest-facing role at one of Marin County's most respected luxury dealerships

WHY MERCEDES-BENZ OF MARIN

• An award-winning, high-volume Mercedes-Benz store with a loyal, high-net-worth guest base -- the courtesy vehicle program here serves some of the most discerning guests in the Bay Area

• Marin County is a premium market where the guest experience at every touchpoint -- including the loaner -- reflects the standard of the brand

• A role with direct impact on the service experience -- a well-run loaner fleet keeps the service department running smoothly and guests coming back

• Swickard is one of the fastest-growing dealer groups in the country -- ranked Top 5 in North America for reputation in the automotive industry

• Our HEART values -- Honor, Engage, Anticipate, Respond, Thank -- are exactly what this role looks like in practice every day

• A supportive team environment where your organization and care for the guest are recognized and rewarded

Mercedes-Benz of Marin's courtesy vehicle program is part of how we deliver a premium service experience to every guest who leaves their vehicle with us. The Courtesy Vehicle Coordinator is the person who keeps that program tight -- organized, accurate, and consistently reflecting the standard of the brand.

If you're organized, professional, and ready to represent a world-class luxury brand in a guest-facing role -- we'd like to meet you.
