RH is seeking a Creative Designer to shape compelling brand experiences across our digital, print, photography, and physical environments. Based at our Dennis & Leen/Formations luxury furniture finishing and custom manufacturing workshop in Torrance, California, this role connects modern marketing strategy and elevated visual design with the artistry of our showroom and workshop.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create sophisticated layouts, illustrations, and graphics informed by classical design principles, balanced proportions, and the golden ratio.
- Uphold and evolve brand guidelines across color, typography, imagery, and visual presentation while reviewing final assets for accuracy, quality, and production readiness.
- Plan and execute environmental, product, and private photo shoots within the workshop and showroom, applying a strong command of lighting, composition, and high-end materials.
- Develop, curate, and manage compelling visual content for websites, social media, email campaigns, and print materials that showcase antique reproductions and custom finishes.
- Support the development, implementation, and analysis of digital marketing campaigns while researching market trends, competitive activity, and customer preferences.
- Collaborate with the Chief Operations Officer, senior leaders, sales, product development, and workshop design teams to create and edit brochures, presentations, flyers, and other marketing materials.
- Coordinate high-end marketing events, trade shows, conferences, and promotional showroom activities with precision and attention to detail.
OUR REQUIREMENTS
- Strong professional portfolio demonstrating excellence in graphic design, layout, and high-end photography.
- Proven design or marketing experience, including qualifying internships; experience or a strong interest in luxury goods, interior design, fine arts, fashion, or high-end furniture production is preferred.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; familiarity with Figma, Canva, and social media management tools is preferred.
- Working knowledge of digital marketing and analytics platforms, including Google Analytics and email marketing software, supported by a strong command of composition, color theory, typography, and balanced design.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong organization and attention to detail when managing multiple priorities and meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequently move throughout a multi-building workshop and showroom for extended periods.
- Safely lift, carry, move, and adjust items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Work in both office and workshop environments, where exposure to wood dust, finishing fumes, and machinery noise may occur. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided.
- Strong visual acuity and color perception to accurately evaluate, photograph, and represent custom stains, paint finishes, textiles, and antique reproductions.
