Lead Confido’s creative brand direction as its first creative brand hire. Translate the new identity into a distinctive, consistent system across the website, campaigns, decks, advertising, events, video, and product experiences. Develop compelling stories from customer outcomes and CPG operations, oversee creative production, and build a network of specialist talent. Partner with founders, marketing, and product design while owning creative standards, vendors, budgets, and execution from concept through production.
The summary above was generated by AI

Confido is the AI infrastructure powering modern CPG — the platform that 200+ brands like OLIPOP, Simple Mills, Dr. Squatch, and Tropicana use to run everything from deductions to production planning. Finance, accounting, sales, and operations, unified in one system for the first time.

We're growing 5x year over year with a small team in New York City; the people who join now will shape the product, the culture, and the company itself.

If you want your work on shelves everywhere — and outsized ownership while you build — we'd love to meet you.

The brands on your kitchen shelf are run by people doing extraordinary work that nobody sees.
We're building the platform they run on, and a brand they'll be proud to be part of.

Confido is the AI operating system that runs cash application, deductions, trade and planning in one place for CPG brands. That means Finance, Sales, and Ops finally work on the same number.
We’re trusted by 250+ brands managing $20B+ in revenue, including Daisy, OLIPOP, Simple Mills, Idahoan, and more. We've achieved best-in-class growth and recently raised a $55M Series B led by Insight Partners to accelerate our momentum.

The Role

Most B2B software looks the same. A few companies have proven it doesn't have to: brands with real taste, that people follow, wear and want to work for.

Behind every CPG brand you love is a back office nobody sees: the finance lead chasing a deduction at 11pm, the sales team planning a promotion blind, the founder watching margin leak line by line. Confido exists for them. Your job is to tell their story, and ours, so well that people who have never heard the words "trade spend" want to be part of it.

This is a principal-level role. You'll be our first creative brand hire and the keeper of how Confido looks and feels, setting the creative direction for the company and holding the final call on the craft. A new strategy and identity are underway with our agency partner, and you'll take it from a set of guidelines to a brand with a point of view: one customers share, candidates join for, and competitors quietly copy.

You'll own every place someone meets us, from the website and launches to decks, ads, events, video and the brand moments inside our product. As the work grows, you'll build and direct a bench of specialists across illustration, motion, photography, video production, 3D, presentation design, web development and event fabrication. You'll report to our VP of Marketing and work closely with the founders.

What You'll Do
  • Be the creative voice in the room. Partner with the founders and marketing leadership on how we tell our story and what the brand stands for

  • Shape the brand from the ground up. Take the new identity from guidelines to a living system with a voice, a point of view and a standard people notice

  • Find the story in the numbers. Turn customer outcomes, like $500K recouped for Feastables or revenue doubled with the same finance team at DUDE Wipes, into campaigns, films and stories people remember

  • Make the invisible visible. Put the people, shelves, pallets and trucks of CPG at the centre of how we show up, never just another dashboard screenshot

  • Own every surface. confido.com, launches, sales and customer decks, ads, social, email and the brand moments inside our product

  • Create moments in the room. Concept and direct our booths, customer dinners and owned events so people leave talking about them. We care deeply about unreasonable hospitality - people should feel that across every experiential surface.

  • Build your bench. Hire and direct specialists across illustration, motion, photography, video production, 3D, presentation design, web development and event fabrication, with the templates, intake and asset library that let them do their best work

  • Make brand and product one. Partner with our product design team so every touchpoint feels like the same company

What We're Looking For
  • 8+ years in brand design, art direction or creative direction, in-house, at an agency, or both, including time leading brand for a company or major client

  • You're a storyteller first. You can take a complex, unglamorous idea and make people feel something about it

  • A portfolio with a brand system you built or scaled, and work you're proud to show anyone

  • Taste you can defend. You know the difference between good and world class

  • Range: you can move from identity and web to a sales deck, a booth and a photo shoot in the same week

  • Hands-on craft in Figma. You sweat the kerning and what the work does for the business

  • You own work from concept to production, including vendors, printers, fabricators and budgets

  • You're comfortable with ambiguity and speed, communicate clearly, and can hold an idea through founder and sales feedback

Nice to Have
  • Brand experience at a B2B software or fintech company known for its design

  • Experience working with or for CPG brands

  • Motion design and video editing

  • Designing and building websites in a no-code tool

  • Experience leading designers or managing freelancers and agencies

  • AI tools in your creative workflow, used as a multiplier rather than a gimmick

🌴 Perks + Benefits
  • Equity — own a meaningful piece of the company you’re helping build

  • Fully paid health coverage through Aetna — we cover 100% of employee premiums

  • Top-tier dental and vision coverage through Guardian

  • Carrot Fertility Pro — comprehensive fertility and family-forming support

  • 12 weeks of paid parental leave

  • Unlimited PTO — plus regular 4-day holiday weekends we actually take

  • 401(k) through Vestwell

  • Paid relocation support — we’ll help you make the move to NYC

  • Fully equipped workspace from day one — laptop, monitor, keyboard, and a $200 stipend to personalize your setup

  • Team perks — catered Friday lunches, team dinners, and unlimited coffee + snacks featuring products from the brands we work with
