  • Document test hypotheses, variations, and technical implementation details for knowledge sharing
  • Monitor test performance and page load impact to ensure optimal user experience
  • Collaborate with UX/design teams to translate wireframes and mockups from Figma into functional test variations
  • Participate in test prioritization discussions based on technical feasibility and effort estimation
  • Proactively anticipate issues while developing and proposing solutions
  • Consult with clients and non-technical team members on complex technical issues
  • Ensure accurate setup and development of tests to deliver high quality statistical results
  • Identify areas for improvement across sites and processes, and effectively communicate these findings to clients and/or internal teams
  • Provide support and troubleshooting to ensure quick resolution when technical issues arise

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience focused on front-end web development with a very strong understanding of DOM manipulation (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)
  • 3-5 years of experience executing A/B and multivariate tests using industry tools such as Adobe Target, Optimizely, VWO and others (Training for specific tools may be provided)
  • Strong command of essential front-end web technologies, including HTML, CSS, Vanilla JavaScript, JavaScript Libraries, AJAX, JSON, DOM manipulation, accessibility, best practices and standards
  • Strong understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development approaches
  • Basic understanding of conversion optimization principles and best practices, including statistical significance, sample sizes, and test duration calculations
  • Working knowledge of tag managers and web analytics implementation (Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of the browser DOM, browser behavior and compatibility, and cross-browser issues and solutions
  • Understanding of how test code impacts page speed and Core Web Vitals
  • Ability to manipulate site content and functionality using client-side technologies
  • Strong desire to apply technical development skills to innovative marketing solutions and products that make real impact on client businesses
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS, Vue, Angular, or similar)

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to source code management tools like GIT
  • Working knowledge of object literal or modular JavaScript design patterns
  • Experience with build tools and local development environments
  • Familiarity with testing in headless/server-side environments
  • Understanding of personalization strategies and targeting rules
