Job Description

The opportunity

This role exists to win the first wave of flagship AI cloud and inference customers for k0rdent AI. You will be the person in the room when a provider decides how to build, operate and monetize its GPU fleet.

We are looking for a hunter who already knows the founders, CTOs, heads of infrastructure and product leaders at NCPs, neoclouds and inference platforms. You will use those relationships to open doors quickly, shape deals early and build a repeatable go-to-market motion in a market that is moving fast.

What you'll do

  • Prospect, open and close new logos among AI cloud providers, NCPs, neoclouds, GPU-as-a-service providers and inference service providers, with a focus on the Bay Area.

  • Use your existing executive network to secure meetings with CEOs, CTOs, VPs of Infrastructure, heads of platform engineering and product leaders.

  • Own the full sales cycle: territory and account planning, discovery, solution shaping, business case, commercial negotiation and close.

  • Build and manage a qualified pipeline with accurate forecasting in Salesforce, using a disciplined methodology such as MEDDPICC.

  • Position k0rdent AI around the provider's business outcomes: faster time to revenue on new GPU capacity, higher utilization, multi-tenancy, and new services such as managed inference.

  • Partner with solutions architects and product management to run technical evaluations and proofs of concept, and bring customer feedback back into the roadmap.

  • Work with NVIDIA, OEM, hardware and channel partners to co-sell, source opportunities and shape joint offerings.

  • Represent Mirantis at AI and cloud infrastructure events and in local ecosystem communities.

  • Help define the playbook for this segment, including ideal customer profile, pricing input and reference stories.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of enterprise or strategic software and infrastructure sales, selling into the cloud provider ecosystem: hyperscalers, service providers, managed service providers or neoclouds.

  • Existing, active relationships with decision-makers at AI cloud providers, NCPs and inference service providers that you can engage from day one.

  • A proven hunter track record: consistent quota attainment on new-logo deals, including multiple complex, seven-figure transactions.

  • Deep understanding of AI infrastructure and applications, including GPU clusters, model training versus inference workloads, LLM serving, and how providers price and package GPU capacity.

  • Working fluency in cloud-native technology: Kubernetes, containers, open source, multi-tenancy and infrastructure automation.

  • Ability to build a CFO-level business case around utilization, time to revenue and operating cost.

  • Executive presence and the credibility to sell to both technical founders and business leaders.

  • Based on the west coast of the US (San Francisco Bay Area highly preferred) and able to travel as needed.

Nice to have

  • Prior sales experience at NVIDIA, a GPU cloud, a server OEM, or an AI infrastructure software company.

  • Familiarity with the NVIDIA Cloud Partner program and reference architectures.

  • Experience selling open-source-based or platform software to service providers.

  • Exposure to sovereign AI, telco or regional cloud initiatives.

  • Experience as an early seller in a new product line or startup-style business unit.

Additional Information

Why you’ll love Mirantis

  • Build the observability foundation for the AI cloud era, working directly with leading GPU cloud operators, NeoClouds, sovereign clouds, and AI-first enterprises

  • Collaborate with a world-class, distributed team committed to openness and technical excellence

  • Shape the product narrative and influence go-to-market success
