About Zipline

Zipline is the world’s largest and most experienced drone delivery service. We are on a mission to serve all humans equally by ensuring access to food, medicine and essential goods anytime, anywhere. We design, build, and operate the world’s largest autonomous logistics system, delivering critical supplies quickly and reliably. Today, Zipline operates on four continents, makes a delivery somewhere in the world every 30 seconds, and has completed millions of deliveries to date, including blood, vaccines, medical supplies, food, and retail products.

Our customers include the world’s largest and most prominent healthcare systems, governments, retailers, restaurants and global businesses who rely on us to save lives, reduce emissions, increase economic opportunity, and provide delivery from point A to point B as fast as possible. The drone is only 15% of what we’ve built to enable seamless, reliable, global operations.

Our system strengthens supply chains, reduces congestion, and gives people time back. With more than 140 million commercial autonomous miles safely flown, Zipline is redefining access to healthcare, consumer products, and food across the globe.

We operate at a global scale and are looking for practical problem solvers who thrive on real-world challenges and rapid growth. Our team is motivated by building systems that have a direct, meaningful impact on people’s lives and by scaling the future of logistics. We are seeking people who sculpt from first principles, enjoy facing adversity, and can do the impossible at record breaking speeds.

About You and The Role

Zipline is looking for a builder who architects culture—not just supports it. This role owns the moments, systems, and signals that define how it feels to work here, operating at the center of company momentum. The role reports directly into our Operations Executive.

Your mandate: raise the bar on energy, clarity, and connection. You design high-signal communications, run impactful company rituals, and create experiences that align teams and reinforce standards. Employees shouldn’t just feel included—they should feel equipped, focused, and driven to perform.

You partner closely with leaders to translate priorities into clear, actionable messaging and ensure major moments—launches, summits, and celebrations—are executed with precision. You’ll work with People, Brand and Operations to create experiences and artifacts that are distinctive, meaningful, and memorable.

This is a service role with teeth: you build the cultural infrastructure that helps teams move faster, think bigger, and do the best work of their careers.

What You'll Do
  • Build and run communication rhythms that keep teams aligned on priorities and decisions
  • Translate leadership updates into clear, concise messaging that cuts through noise
  • Showrun company-wide events and key milestones with high quality and intent
  • Design and evolve rituals that reinforce accountability, standards, and connection
  • Partner with leaders on launches, org changes, and critical initiatives to maintain momentum
  • Launch an employee recognition program
  • Partner with the brand team to design and launch a Zipline merchandise platform for employees and the public
  • Audit and refine existing channels and traditions—eliminate low-signal, scale what works
  • Support onboarding and employee voice survey workstreams
What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years in internal communications, culture, or employee experience roles
  • Exceptional ability to distill complex ideas into clear, actionable communication
  • Experience designing and executing company-wide events and cultural programs
  • Strong editorial judgment and concise, high-quality writing skills
  • Operational rigor—able to build systems, manage workflows, and deliver consistently
  • High taste and sound judgment in crafting meaningful, high-impact experiences
  • Comfort in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where structure must be built
What Else You Need to Know
The starting cash range for this role is $160,000 - $180,000. Please note that this is a target starting cash range for a candidate who meets the minimum qualifications for this role. The final cash payment for this role will depend on various factors, including a specific candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, working location, and projected impact. The total compensation package for this role may include equity compensation; discretionary annual or performance bonuses; sales incentives; benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance; paid time off; and more.
