About the company

Our client is a fast-growing software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Act as a hands-on engineer who works side by side with clients, learning how their business processes run and then building the connectors and server-side tooling that make automation work live. The job spans discovery, design, delivery and rollout, with periodic visits to client sites.

What you'll do

- Talk with clients to learn how their day-to-day business processes run, then shape those into well-structured technical solutions.

- Build connectors to large business software systems using APIs and data pipelines.

- Write server-side services and tailored automations in Python for individual clients.

- Collaborate with product and engineering peers to recognize recurring needs that belong in the shared platform.

- Contribute to early client conversations, rollout planning and occasional on-site working sessions, about once or twice a month.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- 5+ years of professional software development, with solid backend depth.

- Strong skills in Python, TypeScript or Rust, or similar backend technologies.

- Practical experience integrating with third-party APIs, business software or data pipelines.

- Experience releasing software in client environments across the whole stack, including infrastructure and deployment.

- Sound computer science grounding, including architecture decisions and weighing options across data stores and languages.

- Proven ability to define scope with clients or stakeholders and then build the solution on your own.

- Experience creating new, tailored workflow solutions from the ground up for clients.

- Everyday use of AI-assisted coding tools.

- A habit of probing assumptions and designing scalable systems when the problem is loosely defined.

- Experience at a respected technology company or a well-known high-growth startup.

Bonus points

- Experience building AI agents or releasing AI-powered features, whether at work or in personal projects.
