About the company

Our client is a seed-stage AI company building bookkeeping and tax-preparation software for CPA firms. Its software prepares the work and human reviewers approve it, helping accounting firms serve their clients with more efficient workflows. The founders have previously scaled businesses, and the team has signed hundreds of thousands of dollars in pilot revenue in recent weeks.

The role

We are hiring a Customer Implementation Lead to build the company’s first implementation function. This is a hands-on individual-contributor role. You will own the full customer journey from contract signing to daily product use for accounting firms with 5 to 50 employees, working directly with the founders to make every implementation successful and repeatable.

What you'll do

• Scope implementation plans with firm owners and guide each customer from contract through daily use.

• Train end users, install the software into their workflows, and help accounting firms adopt the product successfully.

• Triage issues after onboarding and coordinate practical resolutions.

• Build repeatable implementation processes and playbooks from scratch as the company grows.

• Turn structured customer feedback into clear input for the product and engineering teams.

• Work closely with the founders on high-priority customer outcomes.

Requirements

What we're looking for

• 2 to 5 years of experience in a customer-facing B2B SaaS implementation or onboarding role, ideally at a seed or Series A company.

• Experience training end users and owning customer outcomes through adoption.

• Demonstrated ability to build a process from scratch in an ambiguous, high-ownership environment.

• A bachelor’s degree or higher.

• A record of sustained ownership, strong judgment, and practical customer problem-solving.

Bonus points

• Experience with accounting, tax, bookkeeping, or other financial workflows.

• Familiarity with the needs of small to midsize accounting firms.

Benefits

Compensation and benefits

• Base salary of $140K to $160K.

• Competitive equity.

• Full-time role.

Location and work model

• Hybrid in San Francisco, with 3 to 4 days per week in person at the Fisherman’s Wharf office.

• Visa sponsorship and visa transfers are not available.
