About the Role

We're looking for a proactive, organized Customer Marketing Coordinator to join our team for a six-month engagement. This role is primarily focused on speaker sourcing for tradeshows, webinars, and field events, with additional support across our 3rd party review site strategy, customer story sales enablement, and gifting programs. You'll be a key executor helping our Customer Marketing lead stay focused on high-level strategy while keeping the day-to-day programs moving.

What You'll Work On

Speaker Sourcing for Tradeshows, Webinars & Field Events This is the core of the role. You'll own the sourcing and recruitment of customer and industry speakers for our tradeshow, webinars and field event calendar — managing outreach, vetting candidates, and shepherding confirmations from first contact through event day with our Corporate Marketing team. You're comfortable working a pipeline of prospects and know how to make a compelling ask.

3rd Party Review Site Strategy You'll work closely with our Customer Success team to identify and target the right customers for reviews on G2 and Gartner. This includes building and running outreach campaigns, tracking results, and optimizing the approach to drive consistent review volume over time.

GTM Customer Story Enablement You'll support our customer story program by developing supporting materials for our customer stories that help enable our GTM teams to showcase customer proof when talking about Zip. Strong writing, collateral creation, and the ability to tell a clear, compelling customer narrative are important here.

Customer Gifting You'll help manage gifting logistics across different customer lifecycle touchpoints, including sourcing gift options, coordinating orders, and ensuring the right moments are covered as we look to scale this program.

What We're Looking For
  • 2-3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS from a marketing or a customer-facing role, ideally with exposure to customer marketing, event marketing, or content marketing

  • Strong writing skills: specifically the ability to write polished sales enablement materials that convey the challenges customers were facing and how Zip has solved for those challenges

  • Strong project management skills: organized, self-directed, and able to juggle multiple programs at once

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally, especially with Product Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, and Solutions

Nice to Have
  • Proven speaker sourcing experience: you know how to find, vet, and secure speakers for tradeshows and field events and can manage that process independently

What Success Looks Like

By the end of the engagement, our tradeshow, webinars and field event speaker pipeline is in great shape, we've meaningfully grown our G2 and Gartner review counts and positioning, we have some great new and refreshed customer story enablement materials, and our gifting program is running smoothly.
The salary range for this role is $50 - $65 per hour. The salary for this position is determined based on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant experience, education, or particular skills and expertise.

We’re looking to hire Zipsters and that means hiring people who take ownership, communicate openly, have an underdog mindset, and are excited to increase the pace of innovation for every business in the world. We encourage all candidates to apply even if your experience doesn’t exactly match up to our job description. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workspace where everyone (regardless of age, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and more) feels like they belong. We look forward to hearing from you!
