Position - Customer Support Engineer

Location: South San Francisco, CA

Duration : 6 Months plus

This is for a Deskside Support Technician for an onsite support role. This role includes hardware and software support for HP/Dell Laptops & Desktops. IMAC activity, installs, removals, hardware replacement and complete system setup.

There is all some Inventory and equipment disposal required.

Standard Deskside Support. Hardware/software support for Desktops and laptops in office environment. Will require setup and removal of systems as well.

Skills required:

Proactive and able to work with little supervision

Excellent customer service skills

Excellent Documentation skills.

Experienced with Windows Windows 7 & Vista technical support, 2 years minimum preferred.

experience supporting Office/Outlook 2007 and 2010

Experience with Network connectivity (IP setup, adding network printers)

Experience with PC setup (imaging, configuration of Windows Platform software)

Experience with installing hardware (A+ Cert required)

Will work with clients face to face and via phone.

Able to work a 7:30am or 8am shift.

Standard 40 hour work week
