About the Role

We seek a Cybersecurity SME to join our R&D team in Tel Aviv. In this hybrid role, you will play an integral part in shaping and developing content for our hands-on cybersecurity training programs with multidisciplinary knowledge in cybersecurity.

You’ll join a team of cybersecurity experts and collaborate with instructional designers to bring your expert-level knowledge in a relevant domain and transform it into clear, structured, and up-to-date learning content. This role requires deep subject matter expertise combined with strong independent research capabilities, enabling continuous exploration of advanced industry practices, emerging technologies, and evolving threat landscapes. Together, you’ll create engaging, technically accurate learning materials that simulate real-world tools, environments, and attack scenarios. 

Success in this role depends on the ability to operate as a domain expert, quickly engage with advanced industry-level knowledge, and translate ongoing research into practical, high-quality learning content.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop up-to-date, engaging, and practical content focused on Red and Blue Cybersecurity.
  • Build and test hands-on lab environments.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers to ensure technical content aligns with instructional goals.
  • Conduct ongoing research into emerging cybersecurity tools, attack techniques, and defense/attack strategies.
  • Utilize AI for improving the research process.
  • Work with tools and platforms such as SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and operating systems (Linux, Windows) to simulate real-world scenarios.
  • Develop a realistic and creative offensive simulation.
  • Review and update content to reflect changes in technology and industry practices.

What You Bring

  • Proof 2+ years of hands-on experience in Application Security and Infrastructure PT.
  • Knowledge of modern cybersecurity tools, including SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and common operating system/network configurations.
  • A solid understanding of enterprise attack and defense methodologies and threat detection workflows, including NIST/MITRE frameworks.
  • Familiarity with AWS or other cloud-based infrastructures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative content team.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into practical learning content.

Nice to Have

  • Experience as a cybersecurity instructor or mentor in a professional or educational setting.
  • Familiarity with Blue Team Labs, TryHackMe, Hack The Box, or other CTF-based platforms.
  • Exposure to instructional design principles or collaboration with instructional teams.
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications.
