This team is responsible for advancing Mastercard's data science capabilities across Commerce Media and Offers, translating data, analytics, and AI into scalable products and measurable business impact. For Mastercard Commerce Media, we develop audience, targeting, and measurement solutions that enable advertisers to reach consumers more effectively while adhering to Mastercard's privacy standards. For Offers, we drive optimization and personalization through rigorous experimentation, measurement, and modeling to improve offer relevance and incrementality. Beyond individual initiatives, the team helps shape product strategy by identifying new data assets, modeling opportunities, and long-term capabilities that support Mastercard's growth agenda.
What we're looking for:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or accelerated Masters degree with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
- Previous internship in software development, data engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience with Python through coursework, projects, internships, or personal initiatives.
- Familiarity with data engineering concepts and building data pipelines or workloads using cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Databricks.
- Exposure to distributed data processing frameworks, with experience using PySpark considered a plus.
- Understanding of AI/ML workflows, data pipelines, or model deployment processes is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- This role is not eligible for Mastercard's work authorization sponsorship. As such, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States, now as well as in the future, without employer sponsorship.
