Yext (NYSE: YEXT) is the enterprise agentic marketing platform. AI is changing how customers find brands, and Yext gives enterprises the infrastructure to compete: Scout analyzes 10 billion signals monthly across four AI models to surface where you're losing and why, the Knowledge Graph maintains the verified data AI cites, and content generation and distribution agents syndicate brand content across LLMs, listings, social platforms, and review sites in real time. Thousands of brands in financial services, healthcare, retail, hospitality, and food rely on Yext to win across AI and traditional search. Join us and experience firsthand why we are consistently recognized as a Best Place to Work globally by Built In, Fortune, and Great Place To Work®.

The Deal Strategy team is the commercial backbone of Yext's sales organization. We're in the room on the deals that matter — advising on structure, maintaining pricing integrity, and making sure complex transactions close in a way that works for the customer and for the business. This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, and RevOps, and requires someone who earns trust as a strategic partner.

What You'll Do

Commercial Advisory & Deal Structuring

    • Serve as the primary commercial advisor to North America Enterprise Sales across the full sales cycle — deal structure, margins, pricing strategy, and commercial terms.
    • Model and evaluate complex deal structures including multi-year commits, ramp pricing, volume tiers, and enterprise license agreements, balancing customer economics with business objectives.
    • Own cross-functional management for non-standard deals, coordinating across Finance, Legal, and RevOps to reach alignment without stalling the close.

Pricing Governance & Process

    • Apply and evolve Yext's pricing policies and approval frameworks — maintaining deal templates, playbooks, and escalation paths that scale with the business.
    • Partner with key stakeholders and sales leadership to maintain consistency between deal execution and broader commercial strategy.
    • Identify opportunities to apply AI tools to deal review, scenario modeling, and workflow automation, and advocate for their adoption

Coaching and Team Development

    • Mentor deal strategy analysts on commercial judgment, not just process execution.
    • Help build the function's reputation as a trusted sales partner, not a compliance layer.

Insights & Reporting

    • Track deal metrics including discount rates, approval cycle times, and ACV trends, and surface patterns that inform commercial strategy.
    • Build and maintain dashboards that give Sales and Finance leadership visibility into deal quality and pipeline health.
    • Translate deal activity into actionable insights for QBR and executive reporting.

What You Have

  • 6+ years in Deal Strategy, Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, FP&A or Revenue Accounting in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Genuine curiosity about AI tools and how they could be applied to workflows and analysis.
  • Commercial instincts — you understand margin, unit economics, and what a ‘good’ deal looks like.
  • Strong Salesforce, CPQ, Excel and BI tool experience preferred.
  • The ability to earn credibility with sales reps under pressure, and hold a commercial position without creating unnecessary friction.
  • Experience coaching or mentoring junior analysts.
  • Clear, concise communicator — you can translate complex deal economics into a crisp recommendation for a senior audience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
