The DeFi Marketing Analyst will analyze DeFi trends, extract insights from EO's data, and create storytelling materials for various stakeholders.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Marketing/DeFi Analyst who blends on-chain intelligence, market awareness and narrative instinct. You’ll uncover insights from both the broader DeFi landscape and EO’s own products/data streams, turning them into stories that demonstrate EO’s impact and momentum; for investors, partners and the public.
You’ll turn analytics into alpha for storytelling: dashboards into decks, charts into tweets, data into brand equity.
Core Responsibilities1. DeFi & Market Intelligence- Monitor key DeFi protocols, L1/L2 ecosystems, and token launches to identify emerging trends aligned with EO’s positioning (e.g., modular data proofs, oracle reliability, RWA growth, AI x DeFi integrations).
- Build weekly intelligence briefs highlighting narrative shifts (“What’s driving liquidity this week?”).
- Benchmark competitive oracle and data-infra protocols on key metrics (uptime, TVS, adoption, partner count).
- Collaborate with product, engineering and BD to extract EO-specific data points
- Identify “EO Wins” — milestones or metrics that validate EO’s network strength or market adoption.
- Package these insights into comms-ready storytelling assets: infographics, campaign stats, pitch-deck slides, or tweet threads.
- Maintain an internal “EO Intelligence Dashboard” tracking product metrics suitable for external communication.
- Work with comms to shape stories around EO data.
- Build quarterly reports showcasing both market trends and internal traction.
- Support leadership and BD with data-backed insights for investor updates and media commentary.
- Partner with Engineering to design data pipelines that expose EO analytics safely for marketing.
- Liaise with Product Marketing to align on GTM messaging for new integrations or feeds.
- Sync weekly with Growth and Comms to feed new metrics into storytelling cadences.
- 2+ years in DeFi research, analytics, or growth marketing.
- Deep understanding of DeFi protocols, on-chain data, and oracle mechanics.
- Proficiency with Dune, DefiLlama, Token Terminal, Nansen, or equivalent tools.
- Ability to analyze EO internal data pipelines (SQL, API queries, dashboards) and extract story-worthy metrics.
- Strong visualization and narrative skills; you can turn a chart into a thread that moves the market.
- Comfortable in a high-velocity, globally distributed Web3 team.
- Hands-on experience with data-driven storytelling in previous crypto or analytics startups.
- Familiarity with exchange liquidity tracking, campaign attribution, and KOL ecosystems.
- Contributor to crypto data communities (e.g., Dune dashboards, Nansen query builder).
- Comfort presenting data to press or investors.
- Competitive base (USD or Stablecoins)
- Token allocation
- Fully remote (or in-office in Tel Aviv)
- Launch the “EO Data Pulse” weekly report — integrating market and EO product insights.
- Build an internal dashboard showing EO Wins (feeds, uptime, integrations, partners).
- Deliver a “Proof in Action” marketing report combining on-chain data and EO metrics.
- Contribute to 1-2 media pieces using EO data for storytelling (press or blog).
