About the company

Our client is a software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own a sales pipeline target across several go-to-market channels, leading a team of business development representatives while building and maintaining the internal software and AI tooling that ranks prospects, supports outreach and drives reporting. The role combines commercial leadership with hands-on engineering in a production codebase.

What you'll do

- Set and forecast the quarterly pipeline plan and answer for results across outbound, events, inbound and account-based programs.

- Hire, coach and set targets for a team of five business development representatives, deciding who they contact and how.

- Coordinate pipeline goals with other teams that run events, inbound and account-based work, and supply their target lists and follow-up.

- Study where prospects drop out between early discovery and a trial, and improve the transition to account executives.

- Publish a weekly demand generation report built from CRM stage history that guides team decisions.

- Manage program spend and software vendor budgets, retiring tools that no longer deliver value.

- Build, deploy and keep running production software for prospect ranking, data feeds and automated sales helpers.

- Build and tune AI agents that draft research, outreach and handoff materials, including writing prompts, tools and quality evaluations.

- Maintain a data warehouse of target accounts synced with the CRM, keeping ingestion, roll-ups and audits reliable.

- Define and wire in buying signals, and measure whether they predict meetings.

- Refine how accounts are ranked each quarter using the results of won and lost opportunities.

- Track industry changes in outbound and inbound sales and test promising practices quickly.
