Deployment Manager – Medicaid/MES Systems

Work visa sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

Drive high‑impact Healthcare IT deployments that directly support state Medicaid programs as a Deployment Manager. In this role, you will lead end‑to‑end software and systems deployment activities for complex MMIS initiatives and ensure successful rollout of enterprise Health IT solutions across multiple Medicaid program areas.

MAKE AN IMPACT IN MEDICAID MODERNIZATION

As a Sr Project/Task Manager specializing in system deployment, you will support modernization of Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) and related healthcare technology platforms. You will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of multi‑system deployments that impact providers, beneficiaries, and state program operations.

In this role, you will: 

• Schedule, coordinate, and manage all major Health Care IT deployment and go‑live activities
• Oversee parallel MMIS, MES or Health Care system deployments across cross‑functional teams and stakeholder groups
• Own and maintain all Deployment/Implementation Management Plans used to guide Medicaid technology rollouts
• Lead deployment readiness sessions, go‑live meetings, and status reporting aligned with state and federal (CMS) requirements
• Coordinate installation of communication lines, gateways, routers, and related equipment for MESmodules and downstream integrations

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Bring your Healthcare IT and deployment leadership experience to GDIT. The Deployment Manager must have:
• Six (6) years of experience managing multiple large Health Care system deployment or implementation projects
• Experience delivering deployment/ software and systems implementation projects across multiple Health Care accounts or environments
• Two (2) years of experience with cloud‑based technologies used within Health IT ecosystems
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or equivalent experience

The likely salary range for this position is $111,155 - $150,385. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
