Our Vision: Unlock Healthcare's Full Capacity

Hospitals run on three things: their people, their beds, and their supplies… and all are still managed with spreadsheets, phone calls, and gut instinct. Vitalize is building the system that runs it all intelligently, starting with labor — the biggest cost (nearly 60% of a hospital’s P&L) and the hardest operational problem.

We're building the labor and capacity operating system for health systems — forecasting demand, matching the right staff to it automatically, and coordinating patients across the hospital.

The impact is real: we save hospitals millions in unnecessary labor spend, give clinical leaders back 10–20 hours every week, and are often the reason staff and leaders stay. This isn't a nice-to-have: our customers pay 5–15x more than legacy incumbents because Vitalize is mission-critical software their hospitals rely on every single minute.

We've raised over $32M from top investors, and even our own customers.

Our Values

We hire and grow everyone against the same four values. Each one comes from a real Vitalize story - interview with us to hear them!

  • 🚗 Push the Car. Step in regardless of role. We help wherever we're needed, own problems end to end, and don't stay in our lane. People can count on us.

  • 🏥 Premier 1K. We show up for our customers, always. Nearly everyone visits a customer site in their first month, and customer feedback informs everything we do.

  • 🗣️ Run Towards the Ugly. Name the ugliest truth first, then propose the fix. Candor over comfort — we call out what's broken, and never get complacent. This shapes our craft.

  • 💡 Think Bigger Fridays. See the gap, fill it — no permission required. Every decision is an experiment: we run it, let the results decide, and drive real impact from day one.

About Vitalize’s Deployment Team

Our team is the engine behind Vitalize's growth, we're scaling our deployment motion from 30 to 300+ hospitals. We own the most complex, highest-stakes enterprise rollouts, and our work directly shapes how new product lines and expansions land with customers. These are the moments that unlock multi-million-dollar ARR, long-term customer success, measurable ROI, and most importantly real impact for the clinicians and staff using Vitalize every day.
The Role

You’ll embed directly with nursing executives, hospital operations leaders, finance, and IT to understand how their organizations actually function - not just how they think they function. You’ll diagnose operational bottlenecks, align cross-functional stakeholders, drive organizational change, and architect deployments that fundamentally reshape how health systems staff and operate. For our customers, you aren’t just implementing software - you are the face of Vitalize and a trusted advisor helping them transform one of the most operationally complex environments in healthcare.
What You’ll Do

  • Become a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, nursing leaders, and operational stakeholders as they redesign how labor is planned, staffed, and managed across their health systems.

  • Design and continuously refine repeatable deployment playbooks for academic medical centers and complex, multi-union health systems.

  • Align executives and cross-functional stakeholders across Nursing, Operations, IT, Finance, HR, PMO, Labor Relations, and Legal to drive successful enterprise-wide go-lives.

  • Develop a predictable launch motion for new system integrations, including greenfield HRIS and payroll builds

  • Partner directly with Go-to-Market and Customer Success on the internal flows, tools, and processes that drive long-term client success

  • Work with Product, Design, and Engineering to build and iterate on new product lines, driving ARR growth through expansion

  • Build new deployment systems, tools, and operating processes as Vitalize scales from dozens to hundreds of hospitals

What You’ll Bring

  • Clear Communicator - You communicate with clarity and confidence across every audience, from frontline clinicians to C-suite executives. You simplify complex ideas, navigate difficult conversations, and build alignment through thoughtful, proactive communication

  • Ability to Build Trust with Nurses, Physicians, and Hospital Staff - You approach customers as a consultative partner, not just a project manager. You listen first, seek to understand clinical workflows, and earn credibility by solving problems alongside the people doing the work every day

  • Ability to Drive Change Management & Influence Adoption - You recognize that successful deployments are driven by people, not just technology. You can identify resistance, build buy-in across diverse stakeholder groups, and help organizations embrace new ways of working

  • Detailed Project & Deployment Management - You excel at managing complex, cross-functional deployments from planning through go-live. You anticipate risks, prioritize effectively, and bring structure to ambiguous, fast-moving environments

  • Self-Starter Who Can Operate Autonomously with Little Direction, Fast Pace, and Ambiguity - You take ownership without waiting for direction, thrive in rapidly changing environments, and consistently identify opportunities to improve processes, solve problems, and move work forward

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • 401(k) with company match

  • Flexible PTO

  • Unlimited travel budget to visit customer sites

  • Bi-annual company off-sites

  • Free meals in-office

  • $5,000 relocation bonus

  • Desk setup reimbursement

  • Commuter benefits

  • Monthly gym/wellness stipend

  • An awesome office in Jackson Square, steps from the water
