The opportunity

Unity Ads helps thousands of advertisers acquire users across one of the largest mobile ad networks in the world. As the Developer Support Engineer for Unity Ads Demand, you'll be the technical point of contact for advertisers and their account teams, solving campaign delivery, attribution and reporting issues that directly affect advertiser spend.

In your first months, success means owning the demand case queue and resolving common issues end to end. Over time, it means becoming the team's demand-side expert, shaping playbooks and tooling, and helping Product and Engineering fix root causes. You'll join a collaborative team that is building AI-assisted support workflows, with a clear path toward Senior DSE. You'll also have the opportunity to learn the Supply side (ad monetization and mediation) and build expertise across both.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own technical support for advertisers running Unity Ads campaigns, covering delivery, ROAS, attribution and reporting issues
  • Investigate MMP integration problems and data discrepancies using SQL and internal dashboards
  • Reproduce issues, write clear bug reports, and partner with Engineering and Product to drive fixes
  • Keep advertisers and Account Managers informed with clear, timely, solution-focused updates
  • Build and improve troubleshooting playbooks and contribute to the team's support automation tooling

What we’re looking for

  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting technical issues in a customer-facing or support role
  • Comfort learning new technical domains and products quickly
  • Ability to write SQL queries to investigate and validate data
  • Ability to explain technical findings clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent cases

You might also have

  • Experience with mobile user acquisition and ad tech concepts (CPI, ROAS, attribution)
  • Experience with ad monetization or mediation platforms (e.g., LevelPlay/ironSource, AdMob)
  • Experience with AppsFlyer, Adjust, Singular or Tenjin
  • Familiarity with SKAdNetwork / AdAttributionKit and mobile privacy frameworks
  • Python or API experience
  • Experience with Salesforce, Jira or Looker
  • Familiarity with mobile app development or the Unity engine
