Role Overview
We are seeking a DevOps CI/CD Software Engineering Manager to lead the design, implementation, and operation of advanced CI/CD platforms supporting EDA toolchains and large-scale, mission-critical software systems. This role combines technical depth with people leadership, requiring a strong ability to build and mentor high-performing teams while driving strategic DevOps initiatives across the organization.
As a leader, you will define and execute the roadmap for CI/CD infrastructure, partner with cross-functional engineering and silicon design teams, and establish best practices that enable scalable, reliable, and high-velocity development workflows. You will play a critical role in elevating engineering productivity, quality, and operational excellence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps and CI/CD engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
Own the architecture, scalability, and reliability of enterprise-wide CI/CD platforms supporting EDA and large-scale software systems
Define and drive the CI/CD and automation strategy, aligning with broader engineering and business objectives
Partner with software engineering, FPGA/ASIC design, and validation leadership to streamline development, integration, and release processes
Oversee the development of robust automation frameworks for build, test, release, and infrastructure orchestration
Establish and enforce best practices for version control, branching strategies, artifact management, and release governance
Drive adoption of AI/ML-driven automation and observability to improve pipeline efficiency, detect issues early, and reduce cycle time
Ensure production CI/CD systems meet high standards for availability, performance, scalability, and security
Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts across CI/CD infrastructure
Influence and guide organizational DevOps maturity, setting standards and driving consistency across teams
The pay range below is for Bay Area California only. Actual salary may vary based on a number of factors including job location, job-related knowledge, skills, experiences, trainings, etc. We also offer incentive opportunities that reward employees based on individual and company performance.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
10+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or build/release engineering, with increasing leadership responsibility
3+ years of experience managing or leading high-performing engineering teams
Proven experience architecting and operating large-scale CI/CD systems in complex, multi-repository environments
Strong background supporting EDA workflows (simulation, synthesis, verification, or related flows)
Deep expertise in CI/CD tools and frameworks (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) at enterprise scale
Proficiency in programming/scripting (Python, Bash, Go, or similar) with a focus on automation
Strong Linux systems expertise and operational troubleshooting skills
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence technical direction
Preferred Qualifications
Experience applying AI/ML techniques for intelligent automation, observability, or anomaly detection
Background in semiconductor, FPGA, or ASIC development environments
Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of software security, compliance, and supply chain integrity best practices
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive-level presentation skills
