What You'll Do:

As we enter this next phase of growth, we are in search of a DevOps Demo Engineer.
Here's a closer look at this key role:
Environment Management:
Maintain the Sales Demo Environment so it remains available, current, and correctly provisioned for field POCs, webinars, trials, and specific demo scenarios.
Infrastructure Configuration:
Configure and support underlying infrastructure using established standards and playbooks, assisting with guided changes to keep demo environments running smoothly.
Deployment Automation:
Support automated deployment pipelines, execute deployment runs, troubleshoot failures, contribute to script and pipeline improvements, and follow GitOps practices for updates.
AI Assisted Operations
Use AI tools to accelerate deployment troubleshooting, scripting, demo-environment validation, incident documentation, and runbook creation whie applying human review, security controles, responsible usage, and change-management standards.
Monitoring and Alerts:
Support monitoring, dashboards, and alert tuning to improve demo environment visibility, identify issues early, and reduce operational noise.
Security and Compliance:
Follow and enforce security best practices while supporting vulnerability remediation, IAM/RBAC access management, compliance audits, and audit-ready documentation.
Environment Scaling:
Assist with scaling strategies, autoscaling, rightsizing, capacity planning, and cleanup of resources to meet demo environment demand efficiently.
Collaboration with Product & Development Teams:
Work with Product, Development, Sales, and SE teams to integrate new features, support readiness reviews, test updates, and prepare environments for specific demo scenarios.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
Create and maintain setup, configuration, maintenance, runbook, and how-to documentation while sharing knowledge as environments and processes evolve.
Performance Optimization:
Identify performance issues and support optimizations, testing, profiling, and KPI reporting to improve demo environment responsiveness.
Issue Resolution:
Provide timely support for demo environment issues, follow incident procedures, escalate complex problems, and document resolutions for future reference.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
Proficiency with tools for configuration management, deployment automation, and monitoring (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins, Prometheus).
Working scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for basic automation and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation packages at LogicMonitor for eligible roles include base salary, a variable plan depending on role, along with comprehensive benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary target for new hires in the position, determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, interview performance, and relevant education or training.
