Job Title: DevOps Engineer / Cloud Platform Engineer

Job Type: Full-Time

Exp: 10+ yrs

Onsite: McLean, VA

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in CI/CD processes, cloud platforms, and containerization technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and automation tools, along with a solid background in scripting and enterprise architecture within large-scale environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery.
  • Work extensively with containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting.
  • Manage and optimize CI/CD tools including Jenkins and Groovy scripting.
  • Utilize tools like SonarQube and Spinnaker for code quality and deployment automation.
  • Administer and support Atlassian tools including Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence.
  • Build and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using services such as EC2, S3, EKS, CloudFormation, and more.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver intuitive and scalable solutions using Agile methodologies.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide production support as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Python and Shell scripting.
  • 5+ years of experience in AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, EKS, RDS, EMR, CloudFormation, IAM, KMS, Lambda, SNS, and SQS.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions for large-scale enterprise systems.
