Why Mintlify?

We're on a mission to empower builders.

  • Massive reach: Our docs platform serves 100 million+ developers every year and powers documentation for 20,000+ companies, including Anthropic, Microsoft, PayPal, Spotify, Coinbase, X, and over 20% of the last YC batch.

  • Small team, huge impact: We recently passed 65 employees and raised a $45 million Series B led by A16Z and Salesforce Ventures. Each new hire has a huge impact on shaping the company's trajectory.

  • Culture of slope over y-intercept: We value learning velocity, grit, and unapologetically unique personalities.

We grew in value faster than headcount and we’re looking to align the two quickly.

What you'll work on here
  • Planning, writing, and publishing concise, technical blog posts that teach and inspire early adopter developers at start ups and later stage EPD teams at tech forward enterprises

  • Working across marketing, sales, and product on how to bring a product to market

  • Posting content that is fast, funny, and builds Mintlify's credibility

  • Designing, promoting, and running meet-ups, workshops, and livestreams that leave developers energized and eager to build with Mintlify

  • Gathering insights from every comment, event, and DM; package them into crisp, actionable feedback for Product and Engineering

  • Tracking views, shares, sign-ups, and event engagement; spotting patterns early and double-down on what resonates

  • Creating content that continues to earn traffic months later

  • Building our visibility at priority conferences (AIE NY, AGNTCon + MCPCon, GitHub Universe)

What you bring to the table
  • Experience owning & growing own technical audience (through X, Substack, LinkedIn, Youtube, or other social channels) with clear success

  • Growth experience - have run campaigns with pipeline accountability

  • Technical fluency - can go deep with engineers & translate engineering work into developer-native content

  • Ability to ship without waiting for direction

  • Nice-to-haves: Ships code / has built with APIs. Familiarity with PLG + enterprise hybrid GTM. Feels ownership over connecting good content to pipeline. Experience in an early-stage startup. Genuine relationships in the AI engineering / open source community.

Why you should join our marketing team

If you’re data-driven and care deeply about building a strong brand, then you have a chance to make an impact here. You will have true ownership over your ideas that translate into events, launches and campaigns you run.

We believe great marketing comes from great teams. The best ideas win here, and we're quick to iterate when something isn't landing. You'll find the sweet spot between the projects that energize you and the goals that move the business forward. You'll test new channels, explore new ideas, and own the results. You'll ship work that people actually see.

What you need to know about the San Francisco Tech Scene

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. That said, San Francisco has a lot to offer beyond technology thanks to a thriving art and music scene, excellent food and a short drive to several of the country’s most beautiful recreational areas.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
