Chowbus is a leading AI-powered restaurant technology SaaS platform with deep roots in the North American market. We support thousands of restaurants of every size across the U.S. and Canada, with technology solutions spanning POS, AI, and digital tools that help restaurants run more efficiently and grow their business. We compete with companies like Toast, Square, Clover, and Menusifu. Our Marketing team plays a direct role in that growth.

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to own Chowbus's digital presence end to end: organic search, our website, marketing analytics, and paid search. You'll turn data into decisions and help restaurant owners find Chowbus and book a demo. You'll work closely with fellow Marketing team members, Sales colleagues, and Product specialists to keep our digital funnel consistent from first click to conversion.

This is a remote role.

What You'll Focus On

SEO & Organic Growth

  • Own Chowbus's SEO roadmap, including keyword strategy, technical SEO audits, site structure, and page speed/Core Web Vitals improvements.
  • Run competitive SEO analysis against Toast, Square, Clover, and Menusifu to find content and ranking opportunities.
  • Partner with the content team to brief, optimize, and publish SEO-driven blog posts, landing pages, and city- or cuisine-specific pages.
  • Monitor rankings, organic traffic, and backlink profile using tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs, and report on progress monthly.

Website & CMS Management

  • Own day-to-day management of Chowbus's website CMS, including page builds, edits, navigation, and content governance.
  • Launch and maintain landing pages for campaigns, product launches, and events, working with design and demand generation partners.
  • Run A/B tests on key pages (homepage, demo request forms, pricing) to improve conversion rates.
  • Maintain site performance, uptime, and technical hygiene, partnering with engineering as needed.

Marketing Analytics & Reporting

  • Build and maintain dashboards in GA4, Tableau, or similar tools to track website traffic, campaign performance, and lead-to-demo conversion.
  • Define and track the digital marketing funnel from first touch to booked demo, in partnership with Sales and RevOps.
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly performance reports with clear takeaways and recommendations for marketing leadership.
  • Work with RevOps and Sales to keep lead data clean and consistent across the website, CRM, and marketing automation platform.

Paid Search (Google Ads / PPC)

  • Plan, launch, and manage Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Performance Max) to drive qualified demo requests.
  • Own the paid search budget, bidding strategy, and keyword lists. Optimize continuously for cost per lead and ROAS.
  • Write and test ad copy, landing pages, and offers to improve click-through and conversion rates.
  • Partner with the Marketing Campaigns Manager so paid search complements paid social and ABM efforts.
What You Bring
  • 6+ years of experience in digital marketing, with hands-on ownership of SEO, website/CMS, analytics, and paid search (Google Ads).
  • Proven experience improving organic search rankings and traffic using tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
  • Hands-on experience managing a CMS (WordPress, Webflow, or similar), including landing page builds and site edits.
  • Strong experience with Google Analytics (GA4) and building reporting dashboards (Looker or similar).
  • Experience managing a paid search budget and reporting on ROAS and cost per lead.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Professional or fluent proficiency in Mandarin Chinese. Most of our team and many of our restaurant partners communicate in Mandarin, so this skill helps you collaborate effectively and understand our customers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in restaurant technology, POS, payments, fintech, or another B2B SaaS company.
  • Experience at a high-growth startup or scale-up.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, or a similar CRM/marketing automation platform.
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for CMS edits.
What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation package
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k)
  • 100% employer-paid Short-Term Disability (STD)
  • 100% employer-paid Life Insurance
  • 100% employer-paid AD&D Insurance
  • Company holidays
  • Birthday off
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The salary for this role is $80,000–$130,000, depending on experience.  This role may also be eligible for a performance bonus.
