About ALSO.

We’re ALSO, an electric mobility company originally conceived as a part of Rivian. We’re a passionate team of builders, dreamers, doers and innovators, focused on creating entirely new (not to mention, innovative and delightful) vertically integrated, small EVs designed to meet the global mobility challenges of today and tomorrow. Our mission is to inspire everyone to ride ALSO—replacing many local car, truck and SUV miles with ones on vehicles that are more affordable, more enjoyable and 10-50x more efficient.

We are seeking a Digital Product Manager to define, prioritize, and unify our digital product experiences across our vehicle, mobile app, and website ecosystems. This role is designed for someone who may grow into broader ownership over time, translating customer needs into clear, technically grounded product requirements while ensuring user-facing products are coherent, scalable, and aligned with our brand POV. You'll own product definition and prioritization, while Technical Program Managers own delivery and execution.

You serve as the connective tissue between vehicle, mobile, and web experiences, ensuring customers get a unified, intuitive ecosystem rather than a collection of disconnected products. You'll work closely with Vehicle Product Managers, Design, Engineering, Customer Experience, Commercial, and Operations teams to define digital features, prioritize investments, and ensure consistency across the customer journey. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of hardware and software.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the roadmap for customer-facing digital experiences across vehicle interfaces and displays, mobile applications (iOS and Android), customer web experiences, and fleet/operational tools as applicable

  • Develop a multi-year vision for ALSO's connected ecosystem, ensuring roadmap alignment across vehicle, software, and commercial initiatives

  • Define and prioritize features based on customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility

  • Create a seamless customer experience across user setup and onboarding, remote vehicle controls, service and support, and telemetry and ride analytics, defining how capabilities should be distributed between vehicle, mobile, and web touchpoints

  • Translate customer needs and business objectives into detailed product requirements, including user stories, feature requirements, acceptance criteria, and success metrics

  • Collaborate with Design on user flows, wireframes, and prototypes, and with Engineering to ensure requirements are technically feasible and clearly understood

  • Partner closely with Vehicle Product Management, UX/UI Design, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Customer Experience, and Marketing/Commercial teams to align stakeholders around priorities, tradeoffs, and product decisions, and facilitate roadmap reviews and feature planning sessions

  • Conduct customer interviews and usability studies, and analyze customer feedback, usage analytics, and behavioral data to identify friction points across the ownership journey

  • Validate concepts and iterate based on customer learning

  • Define and monitor KPIs for digital product success, tracking adoption, engagement, retention, and satisfaction metrics, and use telemetry and analytics to prioritize and refine the digital experience after launch

What You’ll Bring

  • 3–6+ years of product management experience, ideally in e-mobility or software-enabled consumer/hardware-adjacent products

  • Proven ability to translate business goals into clear product requirements

  • Experience working closely with Engineering, Design, TPM, and Commercial stakeholders

  • Strong written communication skills and comfort producing structured documentation

  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and grow ownership over time

  • Product ownership experience, not just program or project management

  • Focus on product definition rather than delivery ownership

  • Experience with DTC and retail hybrid models, familiarity with platforms such as Shopify, ERP, logistics, or service systems, background in mobility or consumer hardware requiring service and connectivity, or exposure to subscription/service/entitlement-based experiences are all pluses

The salary for this position ranges from $160,000 - $190,000 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, and location.

Perks & Benefits

  • Robust health coverage — excellent health, dental and vision insurance covered up to 100% by ALSO with FSA & HSA options

  • One Medical membership and dedicated insurance advocates

  • Rich fertility and family building benefits with Progyny

  • Flexible time off

  • 401(k) match

Why ALSO.

We’re passionate about helping the world find a better way to get there—wherever it is you’re headed.

We’re located in the heart of Silicon Valley and have brought together a world-class team from some of the biggest brands in the technology, automotive, cycling, outdoor recreation and retail spaces.

Together we’re working hands-on to imagine, design and build an entirely new solution to a global set of transportation challenges.
