At Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA), we believe that the total cost of cardiovascular care is too high and the optimal way to identify and remove the avoidable costs in cardiovascular care delivery is by equipping and empowering cardiovascular physicians with new care models and new financial incentives via risk-based contracts. 
Position SummaryThe Director of APP Strategy and Operations is a full-time administrative and operational leadership role supporting the Management Services Organization (MSO). This role is responsible for optimizing APP utilization across network practices, developing best-practice care models, supporting quality initiatives, and advancing the CVAUSA care model across inpatient and outpatient settings.
This position serves as a strategic APP leader and subject matter expert for APP workforce design, onboarding, performance optimization, and career development.
Key ResponsibilitiesMSO & Network APP OptimizationAPP Utilization & Care Model Design
  • Develop and implement best practices for APP utilization across inpatient and outpatient cardiology settings.
  • Standardize APP roles, workflows, and panel management models across network practices.
  • Partner with physician leaders, practice administrators, and operations teams to align APP deployment with clinical demand and financial performance.
  • Support integration and scaling of the CVAUSA care model.
  • Define APP compensation models by geography, role and experience – includes salary, bonus, CE and other compensation opportunities
Quality, Outcomes & Value-Based Care
  • Support quality initiatives including guideline-directed medical therapy (GDMT), quality measure performance, and STAR/HEDIS alignment where applicable.
  • Collaborate with quality, population health, and analytics teams to define APP-driven quality metrics.
