  • Partner with FP&A, IT/Data, business-line leaders, and transformation teams to align business architecture with technology architecture, financial planning, operating models, decision rights, and governance.
  • Facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders to map current-state work, define future-state needs, establish capability-level KPIs, and connect architectural change to outcomes such as permanent cost reduction, customer penetration, and cycle time.
  • Build the analytical case for capabilities to build, buy, integrate, or retire; advise program leads on sequencing; and contribute to business cases through cost modeling, risk assessment, and margin optimization.
  • Establish and maintain architecture standards, taxonomies, repositories, templates, naming conventions, configuration baselines, and governance practices that preserve decision history and support consistent adoption.
  • Engage customer executives and technical leaders to understand business and IT transformation priorities, identify automation and AI opportunities, and present architecture roadmaps, risks, achievements, and priorities during business reviews.

Building blocks for success

Required:

  • 8+ years of experience in business architecture, enterprise architecture, operating model design, or a related transformation discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience building business capability models and operating model blueprints that were adopted and used by business stakeholders.
  • Experience connecting architecture decisions to financial and organizational outcomes, including KPIs, cost structures, and financial planning.
  • Experience partnering with enterprise transformation or PMO functions to translate strategy into executable initiatives.
  • Ability to facilitate senior stakeholder discussions and drive alignment across competing priorities in ambiguous environments.
  • Ability to connect business drivers, technology architecture, customer needs, and transformation roadmaps into clear recommendations.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with business architecture frameworks and modeling approaches, including BIZBOK or the TOGAF business layer.
  • Experience in real estate, logistics, supply chain, industrial, or related sectors.
  • Exposure to cloud and architecture platforms or frameworks such as AWS, Azure, GCP, TOGAF, or equivalent.
  • Exposure to DevSecOps, automation, observability, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, APIs, or AIOps.
  • Experience with digital transformation consulting, customer journey design, business case development, innovation management, or large-account solution architecture.
  • Demonstrates willingness and capability to leverage emerging technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and speed. Exercises sound judgment, creative thinking, and accountability for outcomes.
