We are seeking an experienced Director of Business Intelligence to lead and expand our BI and Analytics capabilities. Reporting into our Head of IT, Systems, and Data, the successful candidate will be a crucial leader in our growing Data & Systems org, leading a talented team of full stack analysts in collaborating with stakeholders across all departments, with a mission to increase data accessibility and drive informed business analysis to support decision-making across the org.
At Jane our BI team works with stakeholders from every department (including Finance, Go-To-Market (Marketing & Support), Product, and others), maintaining, analyzing, and visualizing data from sources including billing & revenue systems, a central CRM, product event tracking, and support operational data. In this role, you will lead a talented team of full stack analysts in elevating data literacy across Jane. Key priorities for the role include defining and maintaining centralized standards and governance as our system and business complexity continue to grow, adapting our architecture to support increased data accessibility in an AI-augmented self-service approach, and subsequently evolving our analytics operating model to closer partnership with the business on deeper business questions and insights.

What Impact We’re Looking for You to MakePartner with the Head of IT, Systems, and Data to develop and execute a comprehensive AI-enabled data analytics strategy that sets Jane up for success at scale
Establish best practice governance approaches across our data ecosystem, balancing agility to meet evolving business needs with the right level of standardization needed to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance at scale
Build strong partnerships across Jane to collaborate with leaders across functions in surfacing the right insights to drive data-informed decision making at all levels of the business
Manage and improve our existing analytics pipeline, including software, processes, and vendor management
Foster a culture of continuous learning and data informed decision making across the company
Mentor and develop technology leaders within the organization, including best practices around data visualization, strategic analysis, and root cause problem solving
At least ten years of experience in Business Intelligence or a related field, with a proven track record in a leadership role within a SaaS or technology company. Experience in a product-led growth (PLG) environment is strongly preferred.
Strong ownership mindset, and curiosity and drive for continuous improvement. Not afraid to question the status quo and push for change when needed.
Experience balancing requirements and objectives across the organization to lead and scale a BI operating model (across people, process, and tooling) in a thoughtful way
Strong technical skills with experience in BI tools such as Snowflake, Looker, dbt, Fivetran and Census
Ability to build trusted relationships as a proactive, solution-oriented leader, including influencing, negotiating, prioritizing, and making trade-off decisions with commitment to the customer in mind
Action-oriented, ready to role up their sleeves and do the detailed technical work while also building scalable processes and empowering others
A strong perspective on the best strategy for in data modelling, data warehousing, and ETL processes at Jane
Passion for mentorship and demonstrated success in fostering a culture of data-informed decision making

Most new hires join at the accomplished stage, with salaries above that typically reflecting existing team members who've made significant impact and built deep Jane-specific knowledge. For this role, accomplished looks like:
Canada: $191,300 – $258,800 (accomplished: ~$225,000)
United States: $198,900 – $269,100 USD (accomplished: ~$234,000)
This role also includes equity through our JSOP (Jane Stock Option Plan). Our stock has grown 11x over the past six years, with three opportunities to exercise options along the way. Jane was valued at $1.8B in May 2025, and with the backing of TCV, we have ambitious plans ahead.
