Responsibilities:
- Define and complete the enterprise AI roadmap for construction operations, aligning AI investments and deployments with business objectives, project turning points, and critical-path schedules.
- Identify, prioritize, and scale high-impact AI use cases including generative design, predictive scheduling, computer vision, material forecasting, and agentic AI workflows.
- Lead the full AI product lifecycle from strategy, data readiness, and proof of concept through enterprise deployment and job site adoption.
- Partner with IT and AI engineering teams to establish secure cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, governance frameworks, and compliant AI solutions.
- Establish benchmarks and performance metrics to measure AI impact on schedule alignment, cost savings, safety outcomes, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Research, evaluate, and implement emerging AI technologies while providing technical leadership on architecture, design, and complex construction-focused AI solutions.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of product managers and AI developers, fostering innovation, accountability, and execution excellence.
- Drive multi-functional collaboration, organizational change management, and AI literacy to ensure alignment, user adoption, and successful delivery of technology-based business outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10-15 years of experience in construction, engineering, proptech, or heavy industrial sectors, with a deep understanding of the construction lifecycle, BIM/VDC workflows, and project scheduling tools.
- Bachelor / Master Degree in Computer Science, AI, civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a track record of navigating matrixed corporate environments and building alignment across field operations and corporate IT.
- Strong familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), data pipeline architecture, and edge AI/IoT deployment constraints on active job sites.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain flexible in response to changing project and business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in product management, technology leadership, or engineering roles, with experience launching AI/ML, computer vision, or advanced analytics products, is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully leading AI initiatives within the construction industry.
- Professional certifications in Autodesk, Lean Construction or buildingSMART Professional Certification are highly desirable.
