Rimini Street is seeking a visionary Director, Content with a unique talent for storytelling and brand selling through the power of words, visuals and sound.  As an organization that is built on delivering “extraordinary technology solutions powered by extraordinary people,” this role is integral to shaping and executing a content strategy that elevates our brand story, strengthens market presence and drives measurable business impact.

This is a remote position; however, if you are within 50 miles of one of Rimini Street’s corporate offices, this position allows for a hybrid work option.

Position Summary

As the Director, Content, you will lead a critical function of the Marketing engine, setting the strategic direction for content while ensuring the highest standards of execution across all formats and channels.

You will oversee a highly passionate, tenured team of talented content writers, storytellers, editors and digital content creators, including videographers, contractors and agencies. You will be accountable for delivering compelling, accurate, audience-centric content that supports brand awareness, thought leadership, demand generation and client engagement. The ideal candidate combines big-picture strategic thinking with meticulous attention to detail, possesses storytelling artistry, can distill complex concepts into memorable, easy-to-digest content and leads content operations with rigor. Deep experience in technology or software for content production is highly desired.

This leader will think holistically about Rimini Street’s narrative—connecting product, services, client value, culture and market differentiation—while maintaining an eagle eye for detail, quality and consistency.

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Global Integrated Marketing, this role offers a significant opportunity to influence how Rimini Street shows up in the market by translating innovative, revolutionary technology and services into meaningful stories and scaling content excellence globally.

Qualified candidates will have a proven track record of working successfully with a variety of stakeholders, including executives, thought leaders and Human Resources, to produce content that is effective, memorable, dynamic and reflective of our one-of-a-kind brand. Candidates must also have a strong understanding of the latest content generation technologies, as well as the B2B buyer's journey and how to produce content that resonates at each stage. A working knowledge of metrics will be required to utilize data to develop and optimize content strategies and executions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a content visionary, guiding the team in the creation of audience-centric, high-quality and scalable content marketing assets across PR, content marketing, creative, brand, digital, B2B and thought leadership initiatives to support marketing strategy and programs
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather insights and content requirements, translating complex technologies, products and market challenges into clear, engaging and educational stories
  • Collaborate with Brand Experience, Campaigns, Client Engagement, Communications, Demand, Executive and HR teams to develop and optimize full‑funnel content aligned with brand guidelines and demand generation goals
  • Lead the concepting, writing and editing of compelling copy across digital channels including web, social, email, blogs and paid media, driving engagement and action
  • Translate internal strategy and business priorities into clear, external-facing content across multiple channels
  • Own and maintain a comprehensive, strategic content marketing and editorial calendar
  • Develop innovative storytelling approaches that articulate Rimini Street’s vision with clarity, strength and impact
  • Champion and promote content strategies that reinforce Rimini Street’s brand platform, architecture, messaging and positioning frameworks and voice and tone
  • Ensure consistency of brand identity, messaging and visual expressions across corporate and product communications
  • Grow and mature the content organization to meet current business needs and enable long-term brand and market leadership

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree; BA/BS or higher degree in communications, marketing, journalism or relevant communication discipline

Experience

  • 10+ years of content marketing/marketing communications in B2B or B2C
  • 3 to 5+ years of proven experience managing high-performing content/creative teams

Qualification & Skills

  • B2B marketing experience required; software and services industry experience strongly preferred
  • Background in services or product marketing preferred
  • Strong editorial judgement with proven ability to create compelling content for diverse audiences
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a rigorous focus on language precision, syntax, context and nuance to ensure clarity, consistency and brand integrity across all content
  • Advanced content creation skills, including writing and editing, visual/design acumen and brand-building ideation
  • Experience with web-based storytelling and content management systems (CMS)
  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices, marketing metrics and content performance measurement
  • Experience leveraging modern content technologies and platforms to enable scalable, efficient content creation
  • Demonstrated ability to use performance data and insights to assess and optimize content effectiveness
  • Ability to develop and support content strategies, value propositions and messaging based on rigorous insight
  • Proven track record in creating strategic marketing campaigns and programs that generate drive measurable results
  • Ability to operate fluidly from high-level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution
  • Collaborative and team-oriented leader with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Highly self-motivated with experience championing a vision and driving teams towards shared goals
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a genuine, lively “get-it-done” attitude

Compensation is based on role, location, and level of applicable experience. 

Rimini’s target pay for each position is available upon request during the applicant’s Interview process.

The general salary range for this type of role is 120k - 160k depending on skills and experience.
