This is a senior leadership role that partners directly with the executive team and the board on the highest-stakes decisions facing the business - and builds the strategy function that supports them.

You will own strategy at the intersection of product, data science, hardware, finance, and go-to-market, translating complex market, technology, and consumer dynamics into clear strategic choices and leading the cross-functional work to act on them.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience from high-growth, product-led technology companies, a strong track record of influencing executives and boards, and the ability to lead both the strategic thinking and the people who execute it in a fast-moving environment.

This role reports to the SVP of Strategy and Program Management Office and leads a corporate strategy team.

This is a hybrid position based in San Francisco requiring 3 days per week in the office.

Key ResponsibilitiesCorporate & Growth Strategy
  • Own the development of the company's long-term and multi-year strategy, including growth priorities, market expansion, and the strategic tradeoffs that come with them

  • Lead market, competitive, and industry analysis that shapes leadership and board decisions
Business Model & Monetization Strategy
  • Drive strategic thinking on Oura's evolving business model across hardware, membership, partnerships, and services
  • Partner with Finance, Commercial, and Product to assess unit economics and investment tradeoffs, and to set direction on where the company invests

Executive, Board & Team Leadership
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner to the CEO, executive team, and board
  • Translate complex analyses into clear, concise narratives that drive high-stakes decisions
  • Act as a key voice aligning the company's value-creation agenda across the executive team and board, including direct presentation to the board
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing corporate strategy team
  • Partner closely with Product, Data Science, Hardware, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Legal, and Business Development leaders
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in corporate strategy, business strategy, or management consulting, including time leading strategy at a high-growth company
