We are looking for a Director of Data & Analytics to lead the design and scaling of our core data infrastructure — from raw product telemetry to the executive dashboards that run the business. You'll lead a team of data engineers and data analysts, set the technical direction for our data platform, and stay close enough to the work to unblock your team, review architecture, and ship alongside them when it counts.
This is a builder's leadership role. You'll balance day-to-day delivery with the longer-term job of turning our data into a trusted, well-governed asset the whole organization can rely on.

What you'll do

  • Team leadership - Manage, mentor, and grow a team of data engineers and data analysts. Set priorities, run hiring, and coach for both technical depth and business impact.
  • Data pipelines - Own the design, reliability, and performance of our ingestion and transformation pipelines. Ensure data lands accurately, on time, and at the quality the business needs.
  • Data warehouse - Own the architecture, modeling, and cost/performance of the data warehouse as the single source of truth.
  • Analytics tech stack - Evaluate and evolve the data lake/warehouse, BI tools, and CRM integrations to optimize cost, performance, and scalability.
  • Telemetry - Lead product and system telemetry from the data side — instrumentation standards, event pipelines, and making usage and behavioral data usable for analytics.
  • BI & reporting - Own the BI layer and reporting: dashboards, self-serve analytics, metric definitions, and the trust that comes from consistent, well-defined numbers across teams.
  • Data governance & quality - Establish standards for data quality, documentation, access, lineage, and security in partnership with security and compliance.
  • Stakeholder partnership - Work with leaders across product, finance, sales, and operations to translate business questions into data models, metrics, and insights.

What you'll bring
  • 6–10+ years in data engineering, analytics, or BI, including 2+ years leading and managing a team.
  • Proven experience designing and building data pipelines and telemetry ingestion systems from the ground up in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment
  • Hands-on expertise with modern data stack tooling — SQL, a cloud data warehouse (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift), and pipeline/orchestration tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Fivetran).
  • Hands-on expertise with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI) and CRM platforms (Salesforce required) and a point of view on how to run BI well at an organization.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven analytics tools, agentic workflows, or ML-based anomaly detection on pipelines
  • Experience defining metrics and building trusted reporting that leaders actually use to make decisions.
  • Proficiency in Python or a similar language for data work.
  • Clear communicator who can move between a technical team and non-technical stakeholders.
