Leads a group of engineers responsible for the 5G Hybrid Mobile Network (HMNO) & Spectrum Mobile Network (SMN) WiFi RAN Performance & Optimization. Responsible for strategic initiatives to enhance 5G & network quality, capacity, and user experience by drive maximizing SMN offload and ensuring service impacting events are identified and resolved quickly, while making the network configuration changes that optimize user experience in both SMN-WiFi & HMNO networks.

$138,800.00 and $246,400.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. How You'll Make an Impact
- Define KPIs and develop strategies to ensure high-performance, capacity, and user experience for 5G HMNO and SMN WiFi RAN networks.
- Lead engineering teams to identify and resolve network bottlenecks, performing root cause analysis, and deploying performance enhancement plans.
- Support end-to-end troubleshooting for both 5G & WiFi networks, focusing on signaling protocols, using vendor-specific applications/tools and Charter owned network management systems.
- Actively monitor network performance KPIs and lead plans to improve end-user experience, service performance, network health, utilization, and operational efficiency
- Define requirements for real-time KPI dashboards.
- Standardize parameter configuration, neighbor lists, and software upgrades.
- Manage relationships with network equipment vendors, evaluating hardware/software, and providing input for future upgrades.
- Utilize Big Data, AI/ML tools (e.g., Alteryx, Python, Tableau) for anomaly detection and automated performance reporting.

What You'll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
- Master's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
Experience
- 10+ years of engineering experience and/or network operations
- 7+ years of management experience
- 2+ years of project management experience
Skills
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Advanced knowledge of HFC, Advanced Video, IP Networks, and Telephony
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
- Ability to supervise and motivate others
- Ability to use personal computer and software applications
- Advanced knowledge of all FCC compliance reports and other rules and regulations
- Comprehensive understanding of applicable local and state rules and regulations; comprehensive understanding of OSHA rules and regulations, both federal and state
- Comprehensive understanding of HVAC and power distribution systems, Analog Transmission Line Theory, and Electronic Theory
- In-depth knowledge of Federal Communications Commission regulations, Fiber Optic theory, National Electric Code, and National Electric Safety Code
