Director, Global Public Sector, Tolling and Parking
Overview
The Global Urban Mobility team is seeking a Director to lead our tolling and parking efforts across our Latin American region. While Mastercard has a substantive existing tolling and parking business, we require a deep subject matter expert to accelerate the growth of this segment around in Latin America (LAC). The Director will enable our LAC sales teams with expert-level go to market resources, cultivate external partnerships, build Mastercard's brand in the tolling and parking spaces, and work with our product teams to create innovative solutions to challenges facing these industries. The ideal candidate combines deep tolling payments experience with a history of delivery successful complex, multi market programs and demonstrated ability to cultivate successful internal and external partnerships.
Role• Own the development Mastercard's Public Sector Automotive business in LAC. Help prioritize and incubate high growth portions of the urban mobility business such as tolling, parking, and connected car commerce.• Deliver commercial value: Our team is in the business of creating commercial value for Mastercard. We craft solutions that serve the needs of our public and private sector partners as well as end-consumers. When that value is resonant in the market, we drive a high volume of transactions and generate revenue for the company through those transactions. That incubation and scaling are how we measure our success.• Innovation: Building a successful tolling and parking payment practice requires demonstrable internal and external innovation. We are often reshaping entire industries and the ability to think innovatively and inspire innovation in others is absolutely critical in this role. That innovation often takes the shape of small breakthroughs that culminate in a fully scaled business. • Craft expert-level go to market programs: Not all members of the Mastercard team are experts in tolling and parking. We have a responsibility to craft go to market plans and sales materials that enable our regional teams to deliver revenue growth through the urban mobility segment. This often includes frequent interaction with our product team, provisioning of requirements, and assisting with new product rollouts. • Building new partnerships or extending existing partnerships: Identify key use cases and enhancements with our range of products to grow the partnerships and build concrete commercial success, often in the form of transactional volumes. Understand changing partner needs and how those needs map to the Mastercard business; Foster strong external relationships; collaborate on new solutions; be viewed as a high-value asset to our internal and external partners, etc.• Build Mastercard's Brand in the Urban Mobility Space: Tolling and Parking are emerging spaces for Mastercard. We need our partners and customers to think of us first when they consider Urban Mobility payments. As such, the Director will develop the brand through social media channels, marketing efforts, tender responses, and conferences.
