In this role you will report into the Marketing Department with cross functional ownership leading and executing the go-to-market strategy that drives awareness, engagement, and growth within the Federal sector and across Ontic’s commercial partner ecosystem.
This role is pivotal in expanding Ontic’s presence within government and enterprise security communities, while deepening relationships with channel, reseller, and technology partners in the commercial space who promote the Ontic platform. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision, deep federal market experience, and a collaborative, hands-on approach to build and execute programs that deliver measurable impact.

Roles and Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Marketing (US Public Sector + Commercial Partnerships)

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to grow pipeline within US public sector (primarily Federal).

  • Collaborate closely with federal and commercial partnership sales leaders to identify market opportunities, shape messaging, and align marketing initiatives to revenue goals.

  • Represent the voice of the federal customer, ensuring Ontic’s marketing and communications resonate with mission-driven government and security audiences.

  • Oversee Market Development Fund (MDF) planning, partner communications, and performance measurement to maximize ROI and partner engagement.

  • Collaborate with Ontic’s alliances team to co-market integrations that strengthen Ontic’s ecosystem presence.

Field Event and Integrated Campaigns

  • Lead and execute integrated marketing programs tailored to the public sector buying cycle, including account-based marketing (ABM), digital campaigns, and field activations.

  • Own the strategy and execution for federal and partner events including tradeshows, government security conferences, executive roundtables, partner summits, and field events.

  • Ensure brand consistency, clear messaging, and seamless event experiences from pre-event planning through post-event follow-up.

  • Own the content marketing strategy and calendar for partner and federal marketing campaigns

  • Design and lead partner marketing programs and co-marketing initiatives, including joint campaigns and content strategies with Ontic’s thought leader, referral, reseller, distributor, and alliance partners to extend market reach and drive mutual pipeline growth.

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with sales and communications teams to integrate event activities into broader campaigns that support demand generation goals.

  • Partner with the Field Marketing, Events and ICP Marketing teams to align major campaign and event strategies with targeted federal accounts and partner ecosystems

  • Work with Ontic’s brand and communications team on messaging

  • Partner with Product Marketing and Enablement to bring solutions and messaging to partners and market-facing teammates

Measurement & Optimization

  • Define and track KPIs for pipeline growth, partner performance, and marketing impact across all federal and channel initiatives.

  • Analyze data and insights to optimize marketing investments, refine messaging, and identify new opportunities for growth.

  • Manage budgets, vendors, and timelines to deliver high-impact results efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a strong background in federal or public sector marketing, partner/channel marketing, or field marketing.

  • Deep understanding of federal procurement cycles, government contracting, and channel ecosystems.

  • Proven success in designing and executing federal go-to-market and/or partner growth strategies that drive measurable pipeline impact.

  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Experience working within IT, cybersecurity, threat intelligence, SaaS, or public safety technology industries is highly preferred.

  • Proficiency in Marketo (or other comparable MAP/ESP) and Salesforce. Experience with ABM platforms like Demandbase, 6sense, or Terminus for audience segmentation and account-level engagement measurement are a plus.

  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Notebook, Gemini, Mutiny, or similar) to support campaign development, content personalization, and marketing operations.

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
