About the Role:

Credible is looking for a self-motivated and analytical Director of Partner Marketing to join our growing team. In this role, this person will work with our Head of Strategic Partnership  to manage and grow Credible’s existing marketing partnerships. You will be responsible for executing the strategy, managing partner profit and loss, relationship management, and partnership growth of all existing and future marketing partners within your given categories.  

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with an analytical approach to decision-making and a true sales-focused mentality to communicate and earn support for partner growth initiatives. Through grit, humility, and persistence, you bring strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and sound business judgment, along with the ability to think about what is -- and what could be. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • You will head a number of large strategic partnerships that drive a large portion of Credible’s overall Partnership Team revenue 
  • You will serve as the daily point of contact for some of our largest partners while managing P&L and formulating marketing strategies to execute on monthly growth targets. 
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing and future partners across wide-ranging product verticals to promote Credible
  • Develop, garner buy-in, and execute customized marketing plans and growth strategies for our largest strategic marketing partners
  • Formulate, launch, and iterate on partner growth plans and initiatives across partnerships
  • Analyze partnership performance data and complex data sets to formulate into actionable insights that are presentable internally and externally. 
  • Serve in a business development role for existing partners as you work to expand the scope of the relationship to include new products. You will be responsible for modeling pricing plans, negotiating deals and working with our legal team to execute contracts.
  • Work collaboratively with Product and Engineering to build new partner specific integrations and utilize your partners as a testing ground for new products.  
  • Collaboratively work with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Legal & Compliance to launch and grow partners
  • Quantitatively evaluate partners by building sophisticated partnership financial models to inform strategy, priorities, and team goals. 
  • Build internal consensus on partnership growth strategies through thoughtful and actionable recommendations
  • You will manage direct reports that will support you in the above functions with the expectation that you will nurture these direct reports to increase their impact across the business

Education and Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in a partner marketing, partner management, or account management role
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field 
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbally, and with PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills. Experience with Data Visualizations tools a plus
  • Strong business development skills. Experience in a prior business development role a plus
  • Experience with financial and business case modeling to support partner growth plans
  • Key interpersonal traits: self-starter, creativity, adaptability, unquestionable ethics & integrity, and a willingness to take calculated risks
  • Experience with Consumer Lending or FinTech a plus

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay ranges for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location, are listed below. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.

$140,000$165,000 USD
For all other US locations:
$120,000$140,000 USD
